Lovely cheap and cheerful family run place. Stayed a month. Will do so again next year. Recommended.

We thought this hotel would be better than what it was. A lof of amenities were old, and some not working. It wasn't conveniently located and it was always noisy (despite stating 'soundproof rooms". The staff were great though, so that was a positive.

The room was clean, ac was cold, staff were friendly. The restaurant was very good. Great location with lots of dining options and about a 7 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend staying here as I thought it was good value for the money.

Service was great. Owner arranged for transportation services from airport to hotel (for cost) when requested. It helped us as we were not clear on options. During the stay host look after well. No complaints. Location of place is nice. Close to Kata beach. Transportation in Phukett was not great (not issue with hotel) Hotel is old and room are very outdated. The rooms had some strange smell. Amenities wise not so much.

We had a good stay at this hotel. Our room was cleaned every morning and one of thre staff members cleaned our clothes for us, as an added service. It's very small and maybe understaffed. The receptionist is also the cook. Their English is limited too which made for some awkward wait times. But otherwise we had what we needed (except shampoo). The hotel is in a good location and the restaurant serves good food. I think most visitors stay for an extended time. Many older couples know the staff at the restaurant and were greeted kindly. Then owner (or manager?) speaks better English and checked us out, served at the restaurant and got us our cab when we left. The breakfast was minimal and they charged us 60 baht for 4 slices of bread. I didn't like that. Everything else was fine.

We booked this hotel for 5 nights commencing 2 February 2015, we arrived approximately 10.30pm on the evening on first sight we wondered whether we had been taken to the right hotel as it did not look the same as the photos it looked nothing like we expected. A member of staff from the restaurant told us where the reception was, we have never seen a reception like it, it was an office behind a small glass sliding door in the wall. When someone finally came to see us we where asked if we wanted a room on the ground or first floor. As it was dark and dismal on the ground floor we agreed to take the first floor room. The stairs up to the first floor was open to the public as they were on the outside of the building and unclean with no one manning the reception anyone could have access. We were shown to our room which was along a corridor which also was dark and dismal and resembled a prison block corridor. When inside the room the member of staff tried several times to put the power on by the key which appeared faulty and very temperamental. The room looked as though it needed a complete refurb, however the bed and sheets were clean. It was when we walked into the bathroom that we decided we could not stop in this hotel any longer than necessary.

I've stayed in Kata Beach every year since 2002 to participate in the King's Cup sailing regatta.During this time I have used six different hotels and Choophorn House is definitely my favourite.It has recently been significantly rebuilt and refurbished and the original facility housing a mixture of standard rooms offering fan or air con now boasts 24 air conditioned standard,superior and deluxe rooms.

Fantastiskt ställe, lite dålig städning men väldigt mysigt och trevlig personal!!

Veldig hyggelig personell. Veldig hjelpsomme. God service, fin beliggenhet, rent og fint rom.

Hotellet ligger vid en av vägarna som leder ner till Kata Beach, och kan ibland vara ganska trafikerad. Då jag kom undrade jag vad det var för ställe. Jag fick leta efter receptionen, vilket visade sig vara ett litet bord i hörnet av restaurangen… Kände mig mycket tveksam då, men kom sedan till rummet som var rymligt, rent och fräscht. Sängen var riktigt skön och AC fungerade bra. Frukost (170 Bath) var helt ok och hade det man behövde. Ingen hiss, så var beredd på trappor. Hotellet är inte mer än 3 våningar, så ingen fara. Till stranden var det max 7-8 minuter att gå. Personalen bar väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående. Helt ok för priset!

Paikka oli budjettimatkalle oivallinen. Sain toisen kerroksen viimeisen huoneen, jota ympäröivät palmut ja viherkasvit, joten oli nautinnollista istua parvekkeella syömässä aamupalaa. Ainoa miinus oli huoneessani olleet muurahaiset, jotka ilmestyivät useaan otteeseen ja valtasivat laukkuni (olin unohtanut suklaata laukkuun). Lisäksi jostain syystä minulle lopetettiin valkoisten pyyhkeiden toimittaminen, sain vain sinisiä rantapyyhkeitä. Muuten kaikki meni hyvin ja henkilökunta oli mukavaa ja avuliasta. Saimme jättää laukkumme säilytykseen vielä check inin jälkeen ennen lentokentälle lähtöä.

Nice family run hotel. Good valye for money. Nice area, near to the beach, but quiet village vibe.

We had booked Superior room but got a room from the ground level that was not near what we paid for. The room smelled so much mold that I got an allergic reaction after a few hours in the room. We asked to change the room but all rooms were full that night. We had to pay another hotel in the near to sleep that night. Next day we were able to change to Deluxe room on the 4th floor which was much better. The hotel is in good location near the beach and the main street in Kata beach. But in overall, this hotel is too expensive for it’s quality and services.

Fantastiskt boende. Nära stranden. ( En liten bit att gå ca:8 min) trevlig personal. Bra mat.

Personalen var fantastiskt vänliga och serviceminded!

It was a very nice and proper accomadation next to the Kata Beach.The manager of the hotel is very helpful and interested for the concerns of the customers. Also the staff of the hotel were very friendly to us.The food in the restaurant where you can eat traditional Thai food for a good price was very tasty. Thank you very much for the great time and the feel in the accomodation like home in Thailand.

För MIG perfekt. Reser för stranden, maten o folket. Hotellet har mat o bar. Oerhört tjänstvillig personal. Inget ” sitter fast” . Ca 5-7 min till stranden som är min dagliga utflykt. Enkelt ställe. Ingen lyx på det materiella men väldigt lyxigt på det mänskliga bemötandet.
