Rich Resort Beachside Hotel

Bed linen and towels had more holes in them than a piece of Swiss cheese. Furniture is very old. Toilet and sink leaks water every time it's used.

Loved the special price meals only available to Rich Resort guests for Kontiki restaurant

Very nice place tp stay. Beach needed alot of cleaning though. Service was great. There was no retaurant or bar since they all closed down. We had to go to other resorts to eat and drink which was the down side pf this resort.

I found it convenient to walk to the beach & shops & restaurants.

Location is nice

Rich Resort is great value. Our room was big and the bed was comfortable. The hotel doesn't offer scenic views (or any views really) but it is only 10 meters from the beach. And the beach is great for walking, swimming, and water sports. There are lots of small restaurants along the beach. We stayed in July and the beach was never crowded.

It was a very basic room. Clean. The bed was very uncomfortable.

No windows in the room. But the beach and beach bar was nice.

Matt is an amazing concierge, very professional. He helped us with a scooter and organized tours around the island. He made our stay memorable.

The restaurant across the way is overpriced & not great. Otherwise this place is an awesome deal right on the beach!

The Rich Resort was amazing, comfy and clean room, clean bathroom with hot shower. Nice size fridge was provided. Very nice warm pool next to the bar and restaurant, with beanbag loungers. The hotel is right on the beach where guests can use the beach loungers. It's perfectly located, you can hear the sea very well from my room and it's in very short walking distance of the main street where there's good food if you want something different from restaurant.

Difficulty checking in, dirty sheets, cold showers and partially drunken water botttle in the fridge upon arrival. Not too much going on in the area and attached bar is under construction. Ended up finding a comparable room down the street. Bathroom was large and superior room had a partial sea view.

A capsule was pretty dirty, the toilets were the worst. I found a used tampon in the toilet, some were clogged and the doors were broken.

Hotel was very basic but very cheap, location was good but the bar restaurant attached to it had terrible food. Also had to ask for my room to be cleaned after 2 days of no cleaners.

The most important thing to realize is that the hotel isn't AT the beach and that it doesn't have its own pool - the restaurant across the street does. This means that you are not allowed to bring your own snacks/drinks to the beach and the restaurant does make this worth its while money-wise. The room was ok, but staff could hardly be considered friendly and I'm not sure the girls by the front desk always even understood what was asked from them. No one ever greeted you and we had to ask for basic room cleaning related things separate (for example changing our drinking glasses to clean ones after one week of stay). Good for a shorter visit, I imagine, but by how the hotel was described here and through reviews, we expected a little more.

we had a great stay, room was clean, some maintenance might be needed but nothing major. Room was quiet, downside our window was just on the smoking area next to our AC so we had some smoke odors in the room sometimes. Nice beach across the street with possibility to use pool and beach chairs you just need to use the restaurant id you want to drink and eat (no outside food/drink allowed) not a big deal or you can just go a little farther on the beach and have more beach chairs and resturants to choose from. We were just friendly hotel staff, except the last day when the lady said she could not get us a taxi until 4.5 hrs later, my husband walk to next street and line of taxis were waiting. Matt the manager was very helpful during the reservation and provide with a great room!

The hotel is lovely. The restaurant staff here were so friendly and fun. The condition of the place was comfortable and clean and right on the beach. Fire show every night. 100% would stay again!!

My room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Just across the street from the beach and a perfect distance from the night life that you can walk there in minutes but can't hear the noise.

the staff at rich resort made sure we had a wonderful stay. At first our room was not suitable due to a water leak and when they were made aware of this, the immediately offered a better room. Front desk staff offered linformation when requested but also made suggestions about events we didnt know to even ask about. Matt, at the front desk, helped us plan a lovely day of snorkeling as well as other facets of our trip....always willing to take the time to answer questions. The women at the front desk always greeeted us with smiles and attention. And the location is excelleht....right on the beach. I would highly recommend rich resort to any traveller.
