The rooms are nice, so I would stay again. But the "free breakfast" wasn't worth calling a "breakfast". I would recommend not advertising "free breakfast" as being included, because it's really just toast and coffee.

Nice quiet hotel with only 3 rooms per floor so no banging doors or inconsiderate neighbours to keep you awake. Reception was really helpful and friendly. Good shower, comfy bed,, two bottles of water upon arrival and good air conditioning, The location is excellent. My only criticism was that the pillows and bed cover had a rather sour smell......body odour I guess but give the cover a wash and replace the pillows and all good. I would stay here again.

Convenient to eating places. Ok for a stopover for one night. Very old run down place but cheap just the same.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful. The only negative was I booked the room because it said it includes free breakfast but actually only toast and jam and bananas and instant coffee

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Big room but views were disappointing - rear of local food market and a great selection of rubbish, lol. The only problem was the bed. It was rock hard and I could not sleep on it so I checked out early

Very friendly and easy going hotel. The room was large, but basic. The "town view" was somewhat uninspiring. The breakfast was adequate. It was probably cheaper to take a taxi to and from the airport rather than use the pick-up service offered. For foodies the night market was excellent and the hotel is right next to the fruit market. Overall I thought it was good value for money.

The City House was a very nice hotel at the price we paid. Breakfast was very good. Very clean. Super nice family that runs hotel...they also helped us book tours and rented scooters. I would not hesitate to stay again. For partying stay in Ao Nang. This area is good for markets, shopping, massage, food. A little noisy at night but not unbearable. Thank you City House!!

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel given the price I wasn't expecting much. Very clean and comfortable enough for a few nights stay in Krabi. Central location. The manager kindly organised our travel to Bangkok for a good deal too.

Basic and convenient with nearby eateries and 7 eleven store. Just beside a evening market but not noisy. Mosquito access inside and room service not attended because of the afforded rate

We spent most of our time in Thailand up in Chiang Mai, and the few days we spent in Krabi at the city house pailed in comparison. First off, they don't clean your rooms for you at all, which isn't really a big deal, but when you run out of toilet paper, expect a trip to the store because suddenly their English has gotten even worse. Normally English is manageable though. Room had a drying rack which was nice though. Right next to busy street though, with poor soundproofing. Never ate at their restaurant, tried too once, but after coming back 10 minutes after we ordered (no exaggeration, we were in a hurry and I was keeping a close eye on the time) to check if we wanted chicken or pork, we told them not to bother and left. We had to survive on a 7-Eleven Sandwich that morning. Other than that, went alright. They had their own taxi service to get back to the airport, which was a bit pricey we thought compared to Chiang Mai, but we paid for the convenience

We stopped at this hotel for one night before heading to the coast. This hotel is a decent option considering the price. Functioning air con & tv. Shower was noisy and just not the best ever, but there was hot water. The location is great next to a market with excellent & cheap food that was actually spicy.

I am neutral about this hotel. Clean rooms, but the front staff does not speak much English. Upon arrival we were told we could not get our room until 1 PM although the advertised check in time is 12 noon. We accepted a different room with two twin beds in order to move into a room before noon. It is a Muslim establishment and hence no alcohol is allowed in the rooms. Location is very central however.
