My room was spacious and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and cozy bedding, generous accessories, well-kept bathroom. There was even a mini balcony. The fifth floor pool is small but very clean and ringed with lounging furniture. The staff were a pleasure to interact with, especially the lovely front desk ladies and the cleaning staff. You really can’t beat the location. The hotel is about 5 - 10 minute’s walk from the beach and only steps from Soi Bintabaht, one of the main nightlife areas, yet it is still very quiet at night due to intervening buildings. There are loads of dining and shopping options in the area, which is totally safe, relaxed, and walkable. Personally, I always prefer to have a room safe, which was not offered here, and I am not crazy about key locks over electronic ones, but these are minor complaints. Overall I found my stay a very solid value for the cost.

I keep returning to stay at Thipurai City Hotel because of its convenience, its cleanliness, its breakfasts, but above all else, because of its staff!! The staff from security to the cleaning staff, to the reception staff and management are to be commended!! The staff exemplify the saying, “Thailand, Land of Smiles” and carry out their work efficiently and effectively!!

Great quiet hotel for the money. The staff are especially nice and accompdating. The room was a little on the small side but I knew that ahead of time. There are no safes in the rooms but they have safes behind the front desk

Hotel was easy to get to from my clock tower drop off point. Room was basic, which was ok, but could have used a hot water kettle. Didn’t use the pool, but it did look nice. Location of the hotel and the low price are the biggest pluses Very close to the beach, restaurants, bars and local transportation.
