Staff was soooo kind and helpful! Rooms were a little small but clean and comfortable! Great water pressure! Delicious breakfast buffet! Super close to shopping, dining and coffee houses! Plenty of taxis/ Ubers around for traveling! Highly recommend and will sure to book again!

The team to the cultural sites was close by. An advantage in the crazy traffic. Plenty of places to eat a block or two walk. The metro construction could be noisy. Room was on the small side but enough place for everything, very modern and well kept. Staff very helpful.

Hamitbey hotel is one of those little 'jewels' you find when you dig through the huge number of options for hotels in Istanbul. Clean, quiet, and very close to all major attractions (I recommend using the train or taxi for convenience). Close to multiple EXCELLENT restaurants.
The only drawback is the bed - I am 6 foot 2 inches tall, and so I had to sleep at an angle. However - the bed was comfortable and I slept like a rock!
The breakfast bar is EXTENSIVE with many options to fit multiple palates - lots of vegetarian selections. The food is well-prepared, and of course the coffee and tea were excellent!
Finally - the staff are wonderful at pointing out attractions and travel options. My husband was having tea in the downstairs bar as I was napping, and the staff invited him to sit with them as they had their evening dinner. So kind, and so welcoming. Just a wonderful experience.

The rooms were unfortunately not sound proof at all and you can hear absolutely everything. The breakfast is okay but more variety would have been good, and everything was always running out, taking ages to replace.

Quite simply I didn't enjoy it. The location is quite good because you can get to the Blue mosque quite easily and the street with shops and the Grand Bazaar. However the area itself for the hotel is is undesirable. The pool is filthy. The food of breakfast isn't labeled so you don't know what you're eating some of the time. It was cheap though and I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I'll pay more and stay maybe with a hotel chain.

Basically we have flight we book them, but on the same day on check in my visa is not valid for travel, we request them to rearrange the dates o refund some amount but they didn’t!!
Thats why i never recommend to anyone to go and stay with them, because if something happened to you they didn’t understand your situation and take your money for granted!!

Stayed at the hotel for 7 days.
The Hotel was in a great location, with plenty of Shops, Restaurants & Metro, etc. right outside the hotel.
We stayed in a double room which was small but perfectly adequate. The Bathroom was spotlessly clean with a great shower, and the room was cleaned daily.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The staff were all 1st class and very friendly.
When I return to Istanbul I will definitely be staying at the Hamitbey Hotel.

The property is located in a very convenient area with all the amenities nearby. Literally the metro, tram station and the ferry wharf at walking distance. The restaurants and takeaways at stone throw away plus the advantage of kfc and mcdonalds near the hotel. The staff and the owner were helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for accommodation in Istanbul. Will be using this hotel again for my next visit to Istanbul.
