Great place in the middle of downtown Konya. Parking was easy underneath the hotel. Sauna/steam room/hamam and massage combination was simply amazing. Super clean and professional staff. Well done Selcuk Hotel.

The room was decent and the breakfast was good. The location is excellent, close to a nice shopping area. However, the bed was not comfortable and there were no laundry facilities available.

Clinical reception (very unusual for Turkey where people are incredibly kind and very hospitable) … they were not very welcoming. Moreover, the hotel was largely empty but they still gave us a room overlooking the street - so, very noisy. Also the room heat was way too high and thermostat wasn’t working so no way to lower the heat. And the shower our first night had no warm water … so we showered in cold water. We told the manager the next morning - he couldn’t have cared less. But we insisted on a room change. Finally … the “fitness center” is a single basement room with broken or non functional equipment.

The unique aspect was their generosity. The mini bar was free and a bonus traditional rubbing session was offered in the Turkish bat section of the SPA. It was a clean hotel and the staff was very polite.

The room and location were nice. However the hallways reeked of cigarettes and even though it was moderate temperature outside the room was very hot. We turned AC on full blast but the room never cooled down and we sweated throughout the night.

Staying in Konya at the Selçuk hotel was a great experience for my colleague and I who stayed there for a week surira business trip in Konya. The hotel was spotless clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The front desk staff Irem even translated for me by making calls to several companies as I wasn’t able to communicate in Turkish. We are planning on going back to Konya and the Selçuk Hotel is now our new home when we get to Konya .
