Great hotel with friendly staffs. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Reiben and Myriam in front desk. They made check in process very easy and were very helpful. Staffs in Highlander went out of the way to make the stay comfortable. Special thanks to Rathod.

Expedia members are very bad people and very bad customer service, they don’t have any way to contact them ( no phone number, no email). They put a wrong phone number on UAE. I recommend that no one try to make a reservation through the Expedia .

Didn’t like the way their staff treated us. They gave us a smoking room where I have 2 young children and they had to sleep in a room that stunk of smoke, and their staff thought we were stealing their towels. It’s ridiculous. They need some customer service training.

The property was clean, and the staff were friendly. However, my room was on the second floor, and we could hear loud music from the nightclubs on the ground floor of the hotel until 3 a.m. This made it difficult to enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

Loved everything about the location of this property. TONS of dining options nearby. Staff was AMAZING, especially the gentlemen taking care of our luggage. Great guides and you must ask them about exploring Dubai! You wont be disappointed. Room was large, cool, and cleaned evey day. Can't say enough nice things about this hotel and the staff. Great work Mercure Gold. We will definitely come back.

An OK hotel if you are on a budget and need to be in this particular area. It has a ground floor nightclub on the North side (right hand side upon entry) and it can be heard in the rooms above on that side. If possible, book a room on the South side and on floors 3 or 4. Food is acceptable, breakfast being the best. Lunch and dinner can be hit or miss. Staff are very helpful but let down by management.
