Great location. Need to be on high floor to see much. We had limited view on 3rd floor. It's 32f high. Pool warm. Breakfast crazy busy at times with line ups. Elevators often a long wait. But would stay again. Rooms are nice. We are CDN.

Die Nähe zur Marina ist klasse, sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. In ca 10 min ebenfalls zu Fuß ist die Metro zu erreichen. JBR eignet sich am Abend sehr gut zum flanieren und um gut Essen zu gehen.

For a 4 star hotel, it exceeded our expectations. It was really amazing. A nice and quiet place to stay. Nice and polite staff. Anazing service.

Very clean and modern rooms and a decent stay. The view from the balcony was lovely. The access to Soluna Beach Club and proximity to JBR makes it worth it. However, they really need to get an ice machine on each floor or even the ground floor. Getting ice from the restaurant was a pain (and every time you only receive a tiny cup for 1 drink). Also the 10 dhs charge for bringing wine glasses to the room is so unnecessary and makes it feel like a cheap hotel. I asked for a bottle opener and it took 45 minutes to bring it. Same with food ordered in the restaurant. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

The location very convenient, plus a shuttle service offered to the mall and metro.

A nice friendly and clean hotel. Limited amenities on-site but close to Marina within a 15-30 minute walk. You must book a room half-way up on the front side of the hotel to get a view of the Marina.

First stay in Dubai. Hotel first impressions were welcoming, friendly, helpful and eager to engage. Our room was well furnished and more than adequate for a short stay. We had opted for a superior room with balcony. Wow, the view was awesome and we were superbly impressed. The balcony was more than adequate for sitting out.
Breakfast provided a wide array of options to tantalise the palate. Busy times were very much 9-10am which occupied the lifts.
We did have a couple of niggles with the room, but these were rectified almost immediately. I pay tribute to the hotel for their handling of the matter.
Location, location, location! Within the marina district, the hotel is well placed and very walkable for those of reasonable fitness. Access to the canal/marina boardwalk is a 5 minute walk, and this gives untolled access to the numerous restaurants and the marina mall. For the architectural aficionados, breathtaking views of the city skyline. A real gem at night.
Would I return; absolutely in a blink of an eye. The First Collection Marina is a solid yes for the Dubai visitor.

On expedia is notes that we could get a complimentary room upgrade however the hotel noted that we could do the upgrade but it would costs us. As we wanted to upgrade from a room without a balcony to a room with a balcony, we paid regardless. Otherwise the staff was amazing and very accommodating, breakfast was great, the rooms are very clean and a it is in a superb location. You are very close to the walkway of the marina and there is so much to do in the area. Would come back here again the next time I am in Dubai!
