Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Jackson, MI

The area around the property was nice and convenient. There were plenty of food places, gas stations, etc. However the property itself was not well maintained; floors were dirty, bathroom was not cleaned, and the sheets had questionable stains.

this was awful. the room reeked of cigarette smoke. door was plastered around due to being kicked in previously. bed appeared to be broken. chunks missing out of the floor. bathroom was disgusting looking. that is all i noticed walking in for 2 minutes, crying and walking out. i didn’t even end up staying. the area was scary as a girl traveling alone. crack people walking around.

First room was torn apart. Second room was extremely dirty - water leaking from fridge, dusty table tops, long dark hair in the bathroom tub, door would not lock properly as had been kicked in in the past. AC was working great and sheets were clean. Worst place I have ever stayed after 47 years of traveling all over the world. Do not let the low price entice you - this looks like a meth hotel.

The place is a dump garbage outside of the rooms on the side walk. The room needs many repairs the shower faucet was missing pieces the drywall needs repairs the sink had cigarette burns and it was a non-smoking room. The floor had 3 different types of flooring. The door had water damage on the inside and didn’t seal. The beds were old and lumpy

This hotel should be reported to the health department as there was significant amounts of black mold on the tub and in the bedroom area. Put on your sneakers and run away from this place.

The room was so bad and the smell that we didn't even stay and when i ask for my payment back my request was denied by the desk worker. I would never recommend your hotel.

No running water in the bathtub/shower. I need a refund. I had to get another hotel for the night.

This place is disgusting. The smell of every room is indescribable. Grime on the floor. Dirty showers. There was not a single aspect of this place that is acceptable. STAY AWAY!

It was a dump. Rooms were not clean. When we complained their solution was to hand us cleaning supplies so we could clean our own room. There were pills on the floor and syringes. Hair and used soap in the shower.

Will not be going back any time. The room was a long term rental, it had been smoked in regularly, walls and ceiling where smoked damaged, washroom was the worst I have seen. Inside the toilet was black, all the floor tiles where crack or missing, bath tub had multiple gouges and cracks out in it, Room flooring missing in some spots with carpet over top of the flooring. When you walked on the carpet you stuck to the carpet. Had to use the night office to check in, no access to the main lobby. After checking in i was handed the keys and told NO refunds. I have never stayed in a worst hotel ever, only stayed because it was the only hotel close to the Nascar race, will sleep in my car before i stay there again.

Nothing good . Walls dirty had to wear shoes in shower door lock only had a smoke detector no battery.. we work nights so couldn’t tell u what happens..

Wasn't a well kept up hotel but we've had worse. Other couples had major issues there while we were in office. Room was clean and everything worked so that's why I'm giving the rating I did.

Needs major repairs. Kitchen faucet wasn’t hooked up. Stove had no knobs so couldn’t use. Bathroom faucet barely attached. Bath tub disgustingly dirty. Room supposed to be non smoking but smelled like cigarettes. Ceiling covered in brown nicotine

Room was dirty. Property was run down. Hotel refused to refund payment. No manager on site and staff said they had no way to contact him. He would be in on Monday. Other guest were also in the lobby wanting refunds. I will be calling health dept and OSHA on Monday. I called cc company to stop payment. I have NEVER seen a hotel this bad. Other guest were staying but only because there was nothing else available with the big event in town. We ended up going over an hour away to find a room for the night and drove the 3 hours home on the 2nd night.

It was filthy. We paid though expedia, and then the hotel made my husband pay again. I will be disputing both charges. It was so filthy my husband checked out and stayed somewhere else.

The parking lot was full of kids having fun while many adults were gathered here and there just hanging out. It became clear that the hotel was a more permanent residence than a getaway for this group. I was cool with that until walking into the room. When arriving to our room (409) we found the room to be very dirty. The floors were not vacuumed & the beds were poorly made. Walking into the bathroom (though the door with a hole through it) we found a clogged toilet with 💩 in it. We ended up leaving and finding another place to stay. When looking at America’s Best pictures on the internet the place looked pretty nice but unfortunately they are very misleading. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Sleeping in the car would be a better option. I will be reaching out to Expedia for a refund.

My husband and I were going to stay here for a night on a road trip. When we arrived, there were cars with broken windows parked in the parking lot, the room smelled of chlorine, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and there was sticky red residue on the floor. Due to the lack of cleanliness and safety concerns, we left in search of another place. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get a refund, but we preferred to lose the money rather than have something happen.

WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK, THIS IS TERRIBLE, EVERYTHING IS OLD, DIRTY, AND REEKS OF WEED..... DEF NOT WORTH IT!!!!
