Quick walk to the Bedford L, which is your ticket to the city. So much to do in that part of the neighborhood as well. The arlo was lovely, the room was clean and there was enough counter space to lay out my toiletries and things. Lots of closet storage and they even provide slippers and a mini bar with drinks and snacks if you get a late night craving. My only qualms are that i wish there had been something to lay my suitcase out on, and i wish the elevator was better. But other than that, it was an excellent stay and I'll stay there again!

The staff at the hotel was absolutely awesome. I couldn’t say more about how friendly and helpful and kind the staff was. I was not pleased with the pictures on here, showing the rooms. The room that I reserved looked completely different on here than it actually was. The preview of the room showed a complete other sitting area and instead, the room was a king sized bed with maybe a foot on each side of the bed (and I don’t think it was even that much), except the side leading towards the door and bathroom and that was maybe two feet. The bathroom didn’t look the same either. It was tiny. The hotel was advertised as having the pool opened in April. That was the top reason that I booked there. But it was closed. I paid for something that was not as advertised. Also, wayyyy overpriced when it comes to getting drinks or food. Went down to the bar, just to get my six year old an orange juice. I’m talking a small cup. And it was $10. Even the girl who helped me and got the orange juice said it was crazy, and tried to add more to the cup to make it more worth the money. I would ask for the same for a thing of club soda and it was $4.

Woken up every night at 3am by a garbage truck picking up from the hotel that took away multiple dumpsters over the course of about 30 minutes straight. Beeping, clanking, the works. My colleagues thought I was exaggerating until they checked into this hotel the next night and experienced the same thing from their rooms every single night. Absolutely miserable.

Hotel was fine but needs investment. With all of the taxes and fees over $500 per night for small room but had nice views and balcony. Overall staff was nice except one receptionist at desk had very bad attitude. The bar in the water tower is very small and drinks are overpriced. You pay for absolutely everything including coffee. Elevators were broken, except one, for our entire stay which made going to and from 7th Floor room difficult. Also, A/C did not work and room was quite hot. They did move us final night. In fairness, we have stayed at a couple of other hotels in same area which is a great area with great views of manhattan, the Arlo just needs a refresh

My wife made this reservation for me and I don't think I would have found a better place. Very clean and comfortable, and I thought the b-fast was very good. Staff were very helpful. The only criticism is the shower door leaked, resulting in a pretty wet floor. I used the mat to soak it up but it seems like a fixable problem.

Liked that it was walking distance to a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the subway entrance if you want to leave Brooklyn. Loved the view from our room looking out to nyc. We didn’t love that we were limited to two cans of water per day in our room. We didn’t like that the water that came out of all the faucets and shower smelled like dirty metal water. We didn’t like that the water that came out into the tub was yellow. We also showered in cold water two days in a row and the water pressure was low until I had someone come fix it despite us complaining right away for something to be done. The main curtain in front of our bed was broken when we got there and had to have the staff TAPE the curtain up so we could see the view we paid for only after I requested a room change of a refund for the days the curtain was on the floor not being able to be moved.
