Got stuck in traffic on I-80 and decided to go down to Grass Valley for the night. Found out that the person who stayed in this room obviously had a dog and didn’t pick up after it! I was too tired to do complain about it, so I grabbed tissue, picked it up and flushed it. I recommend the hotel find out how that have could’ve been missed since the bed was made, so housekeeping had to have seen it.

If you want a bare bones hotel room to sleep in, then this is your place. The room was clean and there was breakfast so I’ll give it that. However, there were no charging ports to be found in the room and their electrical outlets were loose and barely functioning. The room was either too cold or too hot, the mattress felt like it was from the 1990s, and we didn’t even get maid service. In fact I only saw two people on site ever at any given time that seemed to work there. It it has potential but that property needs a lot of love and updates before I would consider staying there again. Don’t waste your money.

We were told we would have a roll away bed. When we arrived we were told they were kept in housekeeping and it was too late to access.. it was only about 8:00. Room was not as advertised.

I called to verify which hotel I was booking because I was confused if it was Gold Miner's Inn, etc.. They confirmed there was a jacuzzi which is a requirement at any hotel I stay in.. I arrived to check in and then notified the jacuzzi is under remodel.. Had they informed me of this, I would not have booked. Also, the TV did not work in my room. I spent hours trying to even get to a channel and it would only go to one channel. I called the front desk and she was not able to fix it either. So I was stuck in my room with no TV and no jacuzzi to enjoy. The front desk lady that works nights told me she would have the manage contact me to issue a refund and also verified my number. No one ever contacted me at no one ever came to my room.

I booked and paid for double queen room. the beds were smaller than queen. The check-in was slow, only 1 employee, who was trying hard, but couldn't cope we the onslaught of people. Then after checking in 2 other tryed to get into our room, as front desk reassigned our room.When I reported that room wasn't queen beds,wastold she would report it. that's the last I heard from them.
