It was clean and smelling good, decent breakfast there could have been more vegetarian options in hot breakfast, the staff is courteous and friendly, parking was available. Overall pleasant stay.

We were greeted immediately with a hello and smile from an employee just walking across the lobby, then again at the front desk. The front desk was kind and patient explaining to us where to park and where our room was. I am soory I didn't get her name. She deserves a shout out.
The rooms were very clean, spacious with beds that as soon as I laid on it automatically said ahh. Very comfortable.
The breakfast was like you would expect from a free hotel continental breakfast. With that said, I do have to mention the food was fresh, tasty, had great hours, coffee was good. There was always someone there, refilling, cleaning up and again was very nice.
I would absolutely stay there again.

The pool and hot tub were clean and well cared for. Our rooms were not the cleanest upon arrival (there was a used bandaid on the bed) and the outlets and plug in’s were not up to date with USB, etc. The lobby was updated and clean, but as soon as you step into the elevator and into the halls and rooms, you can feel the age. The staff was super awesome though and helped us whenever needed and even helped us upgrade our room upon arrival as we needed more space.

Hotel is a bit beat up but it’s clean. It’s by the highway so you can hear the cars. Breakfast is above average. Several options. Coming back in October for another conference

My husband and I were there for a wedding. Upon check in the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. They had coffee available during business hours and had other great amenities to offer. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The only complaints I have is that we were placed in room 320 which is located right under the cafeteria where they served breakfast so at really early hours we were woken up by noises of chairs and tables being moved around. Also the parking spaces were so small so if you have a large vehicle it practically impossible to park perfectly in the parking space. Over all we enjoyed our stay and it’s a perfect location if you are planning on visiting the beach, zoo or any attraction.

Its a great loaction for sea world and zoo. Wifi is really poor, watch out for parking charges 28$ per night. Had multiple toilet and sink clogging issues.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a family vacation. Staff was awesome and very friendly, rooms were typical and worked well for us (3 teens), breakfast buffet had good options each morning, location was easy to get to from the interstate and was centrally located.

Staff was friendly, hotel was pretty clean, breakfast was good.
Parking is $26 per night and if you book through a 3rd party they don’t state that. Beds were uncomfortable, housekeeping only did half job when keeping the room. Pool is freezing.

This is a decent hotel but felt old and was not cleaned thoroughly. The beds and bathroom areas that are used regularly were clean but there were think layers of dust in the upper corners of the bathroom. Our room felt damp and stuffy and had a minor odor. The hotel was very full of families which was fine but if you are looking for a quiet relaxing hotel this should not be your first choice. Parking was convenient and available when we needed it but there is an extra charge and it’s outside.

My family and I arrived to the best western around midnight. We had just arrived into San Diego from a trip to Cabo. When checking in we were told that I was already checked in under my reservation and they were all booked. We were tired and we had two children with us so we decided to take the 2 hour drive home. The girl at the front was apologetic and was trying to help, however there was no room available for us.

I would not recommend this hotel and would recommend looking at one of the MANY others in the area. The room was very small and the hotel sits on a busy highway that can be heard from your room. It felt like a two star hotel and for the price I paid I would’ve expected a little nicer. We also saw roaches in our room. Yuck!

At this property, you are 10 minutes from the beach and 8 minutes from Sea World. The parking is 26.00 dollars a night that was unexpected, but you can park on the side if you do not want to pay the daily rate. The square footage for the elevator and room is smaller than I am used to staying, but it is clean, neat, and I would not have a problem with staying again. I am more familiar with this hotel now and know more about their amenities and restrictions now.
