There was a huge trash bag on my bathroom door that had a hole in the bottom and was leaking all over the bathroom floor. The nightstands hadn’t been wiped down, and there was a dirty, used towel hanging up behind the bathroom door. Not impressed!

The area was nice and quiet. We were able to arrive late without any hassle. They were pet friendly which was perfect for our big guy. The rooms were a little stuffy, but nothing upening a window couldn't fix. Overall, it was a great stay. We would definitely stay again

I arrived at around 5:30 pm and room was not ready, it was finally ready about 15 minutes later. The toilet was still dirty, dry pee on seat and on bowl area, and there was no clean wash cloths. Next morning i accidentally left my room key inside while i went outside to turn my vehical on. I went to the front desk to get another key, and no one was there I rang the bell on the counter quite a few times, also knocked on the door in back of office quite a few times as well, and pretty hard too. Nobody would answer. I even went to the upstairs private door, and knocked there as well This whole ordeal took about 1 1/2 hours, finally the guy that checked me in the evening before came down, and got me a key. Very inconvenient and frustrating. I wont be staying there again.

There was no staff and no heat in the room, it was quite chilly in the room. The hotel itself is nice for an overnight stay. I would recommend making sure all your rooms have actual heat. Our room had the heat from the fake fireplace but that wasn't much. And maybe have a visible staff member

There was no light where the hot tub was and there was nobody there to help with that, so we soaked in the dark. Which was fine. The bed was mostly springs and we both slept terribly. The room was a little stinky. The next day when we went to check out, also nobody there. I thought I forgot my glasses in the room, after we left and AGAIN there was nobody to help with that and nobody called me back about it after I left a message. Not sure if there are any people running the hotel. I would not stay there again.

Hotel check in was our room key at the front desk. I went down to the front desk the following am as there was one rolll of toilet paper that was half gone. No one answered the desk bell after I rang twice. There was trash in the parking lot and food scattered from takeout boxes by the soda vending machine. The room had clear damage to the walls and the room temperature was hot. Even with the heater off and the window open.

We'll be back next year!

A bit of a walk from the downtown area. Took about 10 minutes at a brisk pace. Room was overpriced. Very very basic room. Could use updating. Front desk person was especially nice.

The location of the property was very good. The town of Grand Lake was the best town we visited in a ten-day tour of Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. An easy walk to the main part of town from the Lodge. Rooms were average and some amenities like an elevator and ice are not available. The parking lot was a challenge if you have a large vehicle. However, the proximity to town and the Rock Mountain Nat'l Park made up for many of the shortcomings.

This was a very good place to stay. We will definitely consider booking again if we are in Grand lake again.

We loved staying at Big Horn Lodge. The rooms were clean and tidy and is a great walkable distance from downtown Grand Lake. The hot tub had a great view and was very clean. Definitely would stay here again!

Perfect last minute place to stay in Grand Lake. Simple, clean and convenient.

Loved our stay here. We were there for a week. I did not realize that we had to ask to have our room serviced, so we didn’t get clean towels all week. My main complaint was there was no Wi-Fi in our room. We needed to get timed entry passes to the park and had Togo to the office to get Wi-Fi . We really enjoyed our stay here other than Expedia over charging us by almost $300. Working on that.

The staff was always cheery and happy to help any time I passed them by! I happened to have a sprained ankle, and was constantly needing to ice it, and there was rarely enough ice for the amount I needed, but I got by, I just felt bad taking all of the ice from others who may want it. The rooms were very clean and well stocked (Keurig, pods, sugar, creamer, microwave, mini fridge, normal toiletries) but there wasn’t any lotion, so don’t forget to bring your own. The mattresses were extremely old/uncomfortable, with visible sagging in them. I wasn’t expecting the best, but was a little put off when I could visibly see the mattress sagging in the middle. One bed had an indent, the other did not. It was right along the main strip, so we could walk everywhere. I’d definitely stay there again, maybe other rooms have better mattresses. The staff was always jumping in to assist with anything when I walked into the office. The mattress is the downfall, the staff brings up a notch. Thanks for being awesome!

This was a nice place to stay for a night or two. Grand Lake down town was great for shopping/browsing.
