Candlewood Suites ENTERPRISE by IHG

I really wouldn’t recommend staying here. I had a unique experience, but that doesn’t excuse other issues with this hotel. 1. Halfway through my week’s stay, I had 3 cockroaches in my room, exploring and climbing, which is absolutely unacceptable on the third floor of a hotel. Big credit to the hotel staff who got me set up with a new room and purposefully put me entirely across the hotel, which made me feel better. 2. The level of “dirty” which is consistent throughout the hotel just isn’t great. The lobby is fine because it usually always is, but once in the room itself, dirty, sticky floors, a level of grime around all edges, broken or dirty door handles, janky chair at the desk, it just all felt kind of uncared for, like the bare minimum amount of cleaning is done and that’s it. The bed sheets were clean and so were the towels though. 3. The snack shop in the lobby had a handful of expired last year food. Respectfully, how do you not realize a pack of Skittles or M&M’s expired last year?? The staff was the best part of this whole experience. From checking in to switching rooms to getting towels, everyone was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. They all deserve extra credit. cockroaches in the room isn’t a common occurrence, I’m sure, but it still happened regardless, which made my experience much worse than it already was.

Not a bad place, pool was nice. Room wasn't totally ready when we got there, they gave me the key the door was open the TV was on and there were coffee grounds in the sink, I thought they'd given me the wrong room. I went downstairs and they said oh no just the cleaning supervisor hadn't gone through for a final check yet. Elevator was a little slow, actually couldn't get it to come in the morning, turns out the cleaning staff had stopped it or locked it or something to get their carts in and out. A reservation said check out was noon but they told us it was 11 I'm not sure if that's a hotels.com problem or the hotel itself.

Property was in a quiet area. And staff was exceptional.

Dishes in the room were dirty so I didn’t use them and a lot of things in the room didn’t work and the smell of pets lingered throughout the hotel on guests floors

Room was dirty! Someone open my door and tried to come in on my daughter and I. Very unsafe!

Would not recommend

My overall stay was good, but I had requested a King size bed and was given queen size which was not toy comfort because I'm a big/tall man. Door to room was hard to open and close like it needs to be aligned. Chair wasn't thoroughly wiped clean.

I killed 2 roaches in my room

The property seems to get a lot of use based on wear and tear of the room we stayed in, but the staff was outstanding! Everyone we met was very friendly!

I loved everything. The only thing, and it's not a big deal at all, was the reclining chair was hard to recline back. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay, and if I'm back in the area again, this is where I'll be staying.

When first arriving to the hotel, it seemed to be a beautiful hotel. However, when you get in the room everywhere was dirty, the bathroom sink and shower were broken, the toilet had a leak that would make it run every few minutes, and the room had an odd smell to it. Not to mention the rates for the rooms were very overpriced and seemed to be taking advantage of everyone evacuating for the hurricane. Their elevator also wasn’t working properly and I actually had to have the fire department come to open the elevator door. The staff never apologized or even came to see if I was alright. I wouldn’t recommend this rip off of a hotel to anyone.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was super clean and comfortable. The room was very well equipped for folks who would like to cook in the room. I would stay here again, if I am back in this area.

The desk clerk was so very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. We made a last minute reservation through Travelocity because we were fleeing hurricane Helene. I have stayed in "extended stay" type hotels before, but this one was THE best equipped ever! The room was clean and I enjoyed the fitness room. There were a couple of very minor plumbing issues (wobbly faucet and toilet flapper valve). I did inform the desk of those issues as we checked out. They weren't bad enough to interfere with our stay. If I am back in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was good! I would rate it excellent if our roon didn't have a slight dog smell. The guy that worked the front desk was awesome!!!! The beds were comfortable!!

We had two rooms. Both had a bad order. Air conditioning leaked in one. The carpet was soaking all around it. In other room had a dirty toilet, tub and bathroom floor.. I wiped the floor with a towel and the towel came up quite dirty.
