Candlewood Suites NEW YORK CITY- TIMES SQUARE by IHG

Phenomenal property in a location for Times Square, Broadway, etc. (There's still a lot of walking, but HEY it's NYC!) The staff is as helpful as you need them to be. If you need to keep to yourself, great. But they happily answered any question I had during my 5-day stay.

The hotel itself is a bit old and not very soundproof, but the stuffs are very friendly, and they offer free coffee. Not bad overall.

Really enjoyed our stay

Staff were pleasant and welcoming. The property was cleaned and well maintained. The welcome bag was a nice touch.

My girlfriend and I really had a great time really great customer service, sorry I forgot the name but it was just one Dominican front desk woman that was so funny and so helpful. We loved her.

Nuestra experiencia fue muy buena. Los empleados muy atentos, y predispuestos para evacuar cualquier consulta. Mi habitación no era como la de la imágen que se ve en esta publicación, pero estaba bien, cómoda y funcional. Lo malo sería que la limpieza no es diaria, y no está muy claro como es. Primero nos dijeron que era cada 7 días, y como estabamos 7 días, parecía que no iban a limpiar. Sin embargo, limpiaron al 4to día... por lo que entiendo que si uno se queda MENOS de 7 días, no te hacen limpieza. De todos modos, sí retiran la basura, si uno lo solicita. Hay una estación de metro a la vuelta del hotel, y es donde está la Terminal de Buses, por lo que hay muchas conexiones. En la zona hay muchos lugares donde comprar comida.

we had a good experience. there were no issues. the staff was friendly and helpful when needed. the accommodations were good and supplied all our needs. the neighborhood was convenient with many options for food and transit.

Great staff, comfortable rooms!

I enjoyed every aspect of my stay, except for one concern. When the manager texted me during my stay and asked how everything was he fixed my concern. The concern was a smell in the bathroom room. I think it could've been the shower curtain. I have a sensitive nose. My Significant other didn't smell anything. Kenny and Laura were excellent. They are very good at their profession. They were welcoming from first to last day. Their demeanor did not change. I have been traveling to NYC for pleasure for over twenty years. In all those trips I haven't ever said this is my go to hotel. Well I can now say, this is my go to hotel! From when I left in the morning to returning in the evening I enjoyed this hotel. I truly think it's the service. I haven't ever recalled being contacted during a hotel stay to ask how are my accommodations! Even over seas. The service coupled with the fabulous room and view this hotel a five star rating in my book. High level floor with city view.

The location was perfect, you have the subway within walking distance, can walk to broadway, Hudson yards, edge. What I did not like was that the bed was not comfortable, it was a bit small. Ventilation in the room was very limited. I did like the small kitchen it had.

Nice area close to theaters and Hell's kitchen. Also easy walking to Times Square and Bryant Park. Conveniently, one block away from Port Authority.

We enjoyed our short stay here and found the accommodations acceptable. The only issue we had was the smell of somebody smoking a few times during our stay which we reported. Our room was on the back and it was quite quiet
