Candlewood Suites PORTLAND-AIRPORT by IHG

Room was clean but need to update towels, have some facial tissues, and perhaps some paper towels for the kitchen.

No close by grocery stores to walk to for cooking so ended up using hotel store which consists of lots of frozen, high preservative items. Other than that hotel was superb. Bed was comfortable, space was clean and roomy, fitness center was quiet and well equipped, there was also washer & dryers. Will definately stay again.

The washer and dryer was very convenient. Room was clean and well thought out. 24 hour store downstairs was a great idea! Parking was a little difficult, the spaces were small and too close together. It would work perfectly if everyone drove a small car…

First time staying here. Front end staff made it simple and quick. Will stay again if im in area

Not helpful when flight was cancelled

This hotel is perfectly fine. I know that might sound like a three star review - it's not. The rooms all have kitchenettes and for a family visiting Portland would be great value for the money. It's not in town but it's near the airport. You'll need a car to get around. It's a little on the older side, but it's clean and the rooms are big. There's even an ice maker in the fridges! You can borrow anything you'd need to cook a nice meal from the cabinets in the lobby and wash up in the dishwasher. It's not super fancy or flashy. It's not in the posh part of town. It's perfectly fine and it does that job very well.

The lamp by the bed did not work. There was an ant in the bathroom and I could not turn off the air conditioning. Key was not activated initially.

Staff was very accommodating. The hotel and rooms were very clean.

It was amazing . The front desk was always so kind and helpful . The hotel itself is kinda pricy as well as the store they have in it BUT if you have the money to just spend I’d definitely recommend this hotel. Everything about it from the rooms, to the service, to the cleanliness is just 10/10 all around . My husband and I travel for work and we stayed here as long as we could before it got booked out . So get it before it’s filled ! Even the studio rooms are spacious , queen or king beds . The other actual bedrooms are even bigger I bet but if you’re wanting something spacious and doable in terms of price i recommend a king studio room!

Staff was great!

This is a quiet, well organized, newly updated hotel with a fabulous lobby, perfect for extended stays. They’ve thought of everything and the staff is so welcoming and professional. Some of the amenities like the washers and dryers in the laundry room could use an upgrade, and the little on site grocery store needs to expand its variety of products. Also, the fresh daily coffee they promise was not available, but the staff very kindly offered us instant coffee packets and hot water. This is a good hotel that could be an amazing hotel with just a few small changes. And the beds and linens are top of the line: best sleep ever after a long day in Portland!

Funny smell in hotel. Too much air freshener perhaps. Parking felt like it might not be possible.

From the hotel front desk ladies, the front desk staff was very kind, friendly.the rooms everything was clean smells good, I will be back. Thanks Candlewood for all you did for us!

This was amazing - beautiful suite, excellent service. Definitely staying there again in the future

if you pay 180.00 per night and No Water bottle is complementary that's a No for a goof feedback.
