The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and clean! Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing to do with the hotel per se but if you do not rent a car, Ubers can take awhile.

offers FREE tesla uber rides through a ride share that goes around south park named skipper. the fridge in the room didn’t work and our leftover spoiled but they were more than willing to accommodate for us.

This is a great new hotel. Very clean and comfortable . Staff were courteous and friendly. Some very unique modern features that I’ve never seen in other hotels. Walking distance from Bobby Flays Burgwr joint. We’ll be making the Canopy a regular stopping point on Charlotte trips in the future .

Although the Southpark area is very nice, this hotel was subpar. The service was minimal. Numerous small maintenance issues were annoying, ie. Shower door that wouldn’t close properly, several lights didn’t function as they should, the window treatments wouldn’t open on one side… Also, the parking area was too small for the number of guests so we weren’t always able to find a spot. We saw four different employees at different times sitting in their cars in the garage smoking weed. At one point we were trying to unload and the cars on each side of us had the doors or windows open to vent in our way. Seems like most of these issues are staffing issues. We will probably choose another nice Southpark hotel next time.

The property was beautiful & the service was great. The mattresses, however, were very soft and had obvious "soft spots" where the mattress has been over used. Also, the tv had a large dark spot in the middle of the screen.

Poor customer service. The c02 detector went off at 2am, causing us to be awoken out of are slumber. Called down to the front desk, she cut the power to the ac. So we had to sleep in a hot room. The next morning no updates, left out and came back to the decor still not working. The front desk guy was an a hole rude, and completely dismissive. If it wasn't for the maintenance worker, he wouldn't have any switched our rooms. When asked to comp for the inconvenience they did nothing. Not to mention the parking sucks, and the fridge didn't open. They claim to be a 4 star hotel, I don't see how. 2/10 wouldn't recommend.

Hotel is very worn & dirty. Room had multiple stains on carpet & furniture. No coffee available in the morning. Construction next door. Housekeeping was loud & yelling to each other all morning.

The hotel is Very Nice, staff is pleasant. Second or Third time staying there. The problems are the small things. Clean the room ,but forgot to leave any towels, parking is a problem, empty garage across the street you use to be able to use, now you need to walk behind the adjoining Residents Inn and use their parking lot with No Security to be seen, during check out - loading the car hotel does not have umbrellas to use and no overhang, etc. Also way to lax on hallway security, people yelling and running down the hall after midnight. They need to have security on site that is visible….

The hotel itself was great and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the parking is nonexistent. It consisted of maybe 40 spaces. There were no other accommodations for parking except the parking lot at the Residency Inn down the street. The fridge in our room didn’t work but that was no biggy.

This was a standout property from the moment we arrived being greeted with the inviting scent to the well appointed room to the excellent food at the bar. If this is the standard, I'll definitely seek other Canopy hotels!

I wasn’t happy with my stay. The shower floor had stains and the door had hard water stains and build up and should be replaced. It looked disgusting. I had a do not disturb on my door. However, the housekeeper did go inside of my room to remove the trash and replace the towels. If they were going to inside without my permission, why wouldn’t they just go ahead and clean the room. The parking underneath the building is tight and sketchy looking, especially for a woman who is traveling alone.
