Carrollton Inn

Very clean inside the room, outside on the property, and inside in the common areas. That's very important to me. The staff were helpful and responsive. Decent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, in fact this is my second time here. I especially like the patio entrance to the room. You can park right at your room and come in and out easily. I find that very convenient and I feel safe with this option in Carroll. I wouldn't stay in this type of room in, say, Chicago, but here it's great. The property doesn't get five stars for these things: no elevator. The bed isn't comfortable for me; you may find it is for you. The ADJUSTABLE shower head is seven feet up on the wall, so while I would love to adjust the shower flow style, it's impossible for me, thus rendering it useless for me. I think it would have been difficult for my 6'4" son to reach. Lastly, we booked one room, but it had a (locked) connecting door -- and paper-thin walls. The 'neighbors' were LOUD, inappropriately so, and we (and other guests) had to complain. The staff was VERY responsive to our complaints and the rowdy guests were ejected from the room (hotel?). If you plan to be noisy, or need it to be super quiet, you should mention that to the staff at the time of your booking. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Decent hotel and great wedding hall and restaurant.

Check in was smooth and easy but was all downhill from there. 1st room was 80 degrees and the AC was broken. Wasted an hour getting moved to another room. Once that fiasco was done our family was anxious to get into the pool. Unfortunately for everyone the heater was broken, water was ice cold!! No warning at all is the most frustrating thing. We were told we would be credited back for our inconveniences but they never followed through with that. Asked multiple times but nothing was done. Not a chance we would ever stay here again

This venue worked well for our stay for a family wedding. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was well stocked and staff helpful. There were a few items that needed attention such as shower safety bar being loose. Good value for the price!

The pool and the hot tub were out or service and they chose to not tell me until after I paid and refused a refund … I was there with my daughter and her teammates for a tournament and we chose that hotel specifically for the pool definetly was disappointed

Pool and hot tub not working, no elevator we had a child in wheelchair had only 1 accessible room with one bed. They where under remodel but we could’ve been informed

Check-in was rocky, I had to provide all information again, even though I’d provided two pre authorization forms to both hotels.com and Carrollton Inn. AFTER checking in, we were informed that the pool heater wasn’t working, and that the pool had been down for “at least” three months. The pool was the entire reason we chose the hotel, so my child and I could have a fun weekend. I was beyond frustrated and then to top it all off, the air conditioning had a squeaky belt and was constantly chirping, waking up my child and myself multiple times throughout the night. There was no soundproofing even with the squeaky fan going, we could hear every door close. There wasn’t a balcony or a sliding door as advertised in the listing I paid for. There wasn’t an elevator or luggage carts. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement; with tax I wouldn’t have paid more than $70 for that very unfortunate experience!!

Room had musty odor. No hot water to shower. Phone didn’t work. Had to move rooms and no offer to help. Beds were comfortable

Clean and staff very nice especially in the restaurant. Pool was out of order.

The room was pretty run down and the hallways were also very old and weathered. The exercise room and treadmill were really old and not very good. The beds and towels were very nice.

The stay was nice. I tried to call the hotel several times though to ask questions or to return their call and would get a voice mail but the mail box was full so they would disconnect. The restaurant and bar were nice to have.

Lyle, who manned the bar in a wedding onslaught, is a hero and should be given a thousand dollars and a statue.

Pool was freezing cold! Furniture in poor condition

When going to check-in the property did not have the booked reservation which required us to book another room at an additional cost. We were told there wasn’t anything they could do. There was no response from Expedia when reaching out.

The room size was good. Water pressure in shower was very low. The small fridge was full of ice, it hasn’t been thawed in a while. The breakfast area is not kept as clean as it should. Breakfast is ok but nothing to brag about having, food runs out quickly but not replaced as such. Checkout lady was not as friendly

Nice value for a place to sleep.

Quiet and convenient

First night was good, second night there was a loud and drunken fireman’s dance until 10 pm

Very nice quiet area with friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sparce. Close to restaurants and not far from downtown.
