Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, College Station, TX

4th flr handicap rm (didn’t need or ask for), over $200/nt (2 queens). Bathroom floor drain loose and dropped 1” if stepped on - very dangerous. Nothing like pics online. We expected to be swimming - pool had no water, no one let us know. Terrible breakfast first morn (brown fruitfly bananas), no protein or yogurt. Kitchen water shut off daily (kitchen worker showed us how to enable it for our tumblers). Room AC leaked (but was cold). Curtain pulls broken, curtains missing. Cracked wall pics. Tub heavily patched, room needed sweeping. Pillow cases had holes. Half of phone plugs worked. Room very dark. Hotel is very old/tired compared to expectations for this price. Positive: 2 kitchen staff members were friendly and nice. We got a text asking how our stay was going. I mentioned these items. No one responded. I texted twice. During our stay I connected w/ staff who handed me towels, toilet paper, or said “sorry” re: our issues, but no real resolution. At checkout, I said all of this, and told about the no reply texts. Staff acted mortified and said they’d give a $67 refund if we didn’t post a negative review. I agreed. Then they didn’t give us the refund. I called Expedia to detail all of this. Expedia called the hotel and asked for a full refund. Kerry at the hotel said no. Expedia asked for 1-2 day refund. Kerry said no. Expedia felt so bad they credited us a smidge over what the hotel originally said they would do, but better than nothing. Don’t go here. Try Holiday Inn.

Stay just so-so. Staff was very friendly. Hall had a strange smell, pool/hot tub not functioning. Could really use some updates.

Overall stay our stay was good, room was clean and breakfast was simple and good! When we walked in the room it was freezing so I raise the temp a bit.. Bad idea, at bed time when i lowered it down so it can be cooler it never reaches temp until the next morning. It was very musty overnight that even the tile floor felt wet. So needless to say I didn’t move the temp again and the 2nd nights rest was way better. Other than that I will say we would stay here again!!

Everything was nice the staff was excellent. It was a little noisy and there went any vending machines for that late night snack. Other than that we came for my daughters birthday and had a great time.

The customer service at this hotel was wonderful. The hotel was located conveniently in the town. The breakfast was also very good. We would definitely go back.

Our room 214… the couch and couch bed were worn and the springs were sprung. Extremely used , worn and UGLY. This couch needs to be replaced! It is past its use date.

Please purchase better mattresses for your guests. The current mattresses are hard as a brick and the sheets weren’t cleaned properly.

Ground room was extremely noisy. Pluming in the room loud noise kept us up all night. This room had a jacuzzi we did not request. Breakfast was average. One and done.

I enjoyed my staff here very quiet and clean

Room had a musty/moldy smell. Room had no cups for coffee, barely towels for one person Room did not have a working phone, tub was very old and dirt marks in it, vents were dusty Heat in room was very warm and could be adjusted or maybe wasn’t working. Hotel was old, rug was ragged and deteriorated looking

I liked that the front desk followed up on a complaint however issue started back. Did not like that there were no vending machines. The first floor paint peeling. Was not quiet. We will not be coming back.

Nice place, quiet, and clean. No problems. Would stay there again for sure.
