Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Westlake

The staff was very nice and the pool is a nice amenity to have for the kids.

Area was good, clean, there wasn’t much lighting outside especially in the area where there was parking available, those areas was more darker. Inside hotel everything was good about it.

The stay was just okay. Hotel needs updating and "conveniences" need fixed. 2 out of the 3 ice machines didn't work. Screen door of room balcony was bent and unable to slide. No hooks to hang anything in bathroom. And my kids almost got stuck in the elevator. Cost of room was not worth the quality. And a bottle of water should not cost $4! Best thing about our stay was the front desk personal. Especially Holly. Who when our toilet wouldn't flush, came to our room herself (no maintenance crew) to fix it at 11pm one night. Then proceeded to mop the bathroom herself.

The hotel fit all our needs for a quick stop along our road trip. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

It is impossible to get a cup of coffee if it's not breakfast time due to some weird rules from Starbucks.

The hostess that checked us in was courteous and professional. She was pleasant and informative related to the amenities. 5/5 stars.

Definitely not the Courtyard experience I am used to getting!! When we arrived, we used the luggage cart but the wheel was semi-broken so it was extremely difficult to use. When I mentioned it to the front staff, they said they knew it was broken but didn't know where the other one was. We had 5 people in our room, but only 2 towels. I had to ask housekeeping for more towels. We got to our room and our toilet didn't work so maintenance had to come change the inside parts to make the toilet work. Our air conditioner was clearly broken and wouldn't keep the room cool. Luckily it was only 75 degrees outside so we kept the window open, but at night we were super hot. We took the kids to the pool and after about 10 minutes, my son discovered feces in the pool. We immediately made the kids get out and when I told the front desk person, she acted like this wasn't a big deal. And never did we see them drain the pool, so hopefully they shocked it, because they kept it open but we refused to allow our kids to go back in.

The property is tired and needs a PIP (property improvement plan). Rust on the bathroom door, inadequate storage space for clothes for a stay longer than a few days, bathroom countertop is small and inadequate for two adults (& BTW below standard). No tea bags in the room. Oh, Starbucks is not good for everybody; i.e. not everyone like an overpriced cup of coffee. A/C was adequate! Some roadside rest areas have thicker toilet paper. Service staff was excellent and responsive.

Staff was great and hotel was clean. You could tell it was an older building and would be nice to add a microwave in the room and offer a free continental breakfast.

We checked in and although they were friendly they iffered no assistance at all. I told thme we were staying here because of medical trip for my husband and we qere exhausted, i asked where the luggage racks were and the response "Probably in a hallway somewhere ". Now there were 2 people "working" the front desk. One of them shouldve offered to go get us one. Nope they both acted like I didnt matter THEN when i came walking in clearly struggling with many bags both looked away and avoided even making eye contact ! No offer of help no nothing. Why even be in customer service if you are this obvious and inconsiderate!

Our tv didnt work. Maintenance came and was unable to fix it. The problem was hotel wide. Pool small and dirty. No compensation on having to change rooms die to tv issue.

Got there close to midnight and the person at front desk was engaged in a long conversation while others were waiting. At that time of night, people want to get in their room and sleep. The room was very outdated throughout and a small outdated TV, blackout curtains were torn. Not worth $210.

Great Hotel would stay again fore sure

The hotel was quiet, but definitely needs some updating. The room had a great desk setup that wheeled away separately, which was convenient for my use. The staff here was really nice, though they were woefully understaffed — sometimes quite long lines at the front. The ice machines were broken on several floors — having to go to the lobby to ask for ice was a bother. The TV in the room was quite small (made reading captions a challenge while viewing from bed).

Property was clean but a little outdated.

Room was clean and beds were great. Staff friendly and accommodating. Pool and hot tub were great. Cons...mini fridge didnt keep things very cold and ice was hard to come by with 2 of the ice makers not working but front desk was more then happy to get ice from the restaurant

Reservations made for out-of-state family. They were informed at check-in of additional fees. We were not told about them. First room smelled of marijuana. Second room had torn curtains and an ac unit that didn't work. Third room was a charm ... finally.
