This was my second stay at the Courtyard Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Monrovia. There was a reason why I came back. It was because of the cleanliness of the property and the friendliness and availability of the staff. I appreciate this location is central to many of the sights of the city

The stay was nice but the whole night there was a group of men and woman standing outside the hotel from the moment i arrived till past 12am! Probably a group of 8-10 ppl, made me feel unsafe.

The room would have been comfortable had it not been for a fowl odor that smelled like the mix of urine and possibly mildew. Also bad odor in hallways. Will not be staying there ever again.

The room was great. It had a musty smell, but that was the only thing that gave our stay a ding. Everything else was perfect. Not only did they have free parking, they also had free charging for our car. The staff was very friendly and super accommodating. We will definitely stay there again

The property was a bit run down and not especially clean, but worst of all was the fact that all of the rooms are subject to noise from the 210 Freeway and have old windows that provide no sound insulation. I got almost no sleep the first night of my two-night stay. I cancelled the second night and at least the hotel approved a refund for the second night, although getting the refund through Expedia took some work.

Nice and clean room. We stayed one night Dec 16, 2024. Newly remodeled, comfy sofa and king mattress. Just needed a firm sleep pillow option. The pillows were very soft and squishy, too soft for my neck. I always bring my own small pillow to sleep on top of the hotel pillow, but it was still too soft. The restaurant has friendly, helpful staff and delicious food. We ate the Bistro Burger and Fries combo, really great! Very, very filling. Overall a very nice stay. Would stay here again.
