I liked the outside nature. I did not like the way my fiance and I was treated by the restaurant employee, she was extremely rude. Also I did not like how the television did not work and nobody checked to make sure everything was good before we checked in.

Clean quite and easy parking. Staff very nice

The room it was a great experience. Except for the sheets needed to be changed, and I had to wait until the next day to get them changed when house keeping came the next day after I called and complained. The room should had a thorough cleaning before my arrival. It was over a great experience our first time there we went to celebrate my husband birthday and the food wasn’t not even good for additional two hundred for the two nights of dinning. Also on top of the fireplace looked as if it caught on fire before it can use some updates and definitely make sure that the room is clean and ready for check in

My expectations and from the pictures, a resort for lovers/couples, no candy/chocolate in the rooms, no candles, we even have to buy bubble soap and firewood. What i see negates what they say they offer. With the amount paid and with the services, it is a waste of money. Other hotels will take less and offer better services. I am not impressed at all and did not have value for my money.

I was very skeptical after reading some negative reviews, but I also read very good reviews. I have to say that we were very pleased and do not regret going. Everything was a good and the food was excellent. The bed needs updating. Overall a very good experience.

2 bedtime here will be back

For the most part the stay was great with the exception of one of the breakfast servers. Attitude was poor. Me and my boyfriend went to breakfast which is free. Upon arrival we were directed to a table however we ended up moving closer to the window for a scenic view. In comes the server (LOUDLY) “that’s not your seat, you can’t just sit there. At this point everyone was staring. I was embarrassed. I simply stated well we have our room and name in for to the front hostess. I really didn’t think it was that big of a deal. Again, FREE breakfast why does it matter where I sit. She remained with an attitude for the remainder of breakfast. We asked for refills of our drinks and she purposely brung us the wrong drinks. She is so lucky I do not remember her name. She said as a short Caucasian woman with a Dora the explorer bob! Please fix your staff. Horrible representation of your resort!

The rooms and ground are very nice. Quite and peaceful place.

Such a unique resort in this day and age.

This place used to be very good, but I think that that ended around 20 years ago. I stayed at the Garden of Eden Apple which cost me $1100 for just two nights. The pool was nice. The sauna was nice. However, the rest of the room was severely outdated and old looking. In my opinion, for approximately $550/night, you should get way more. Also, the roll away bid had a lot of dirt under it when we moved the bed. The cost of the room did not include dinner. So, we booked to eat dinner at the dining hall. The food was mediocre, but the cost was what one would expect in an upscale restaurant. We ate off site on our second night.

Great couples activity

The idea behind the property is excellent, a couples retreat in the Poconos. The good, the food at restaurant was absolutely superb. We also loved feeding the deer, they were so adorable. The bad, our room was not clean. For instance, after using the jacuzzi, and upon draining the water, a very large residue of sandy sediment remained the tub. After doing a bit of checking, it turns out this dirt came from the jacuzzi jets were means they were not or ever cleaned. To make matters worse we actually took a bath in this dirty water without even realizing. The switches also had an oily residue on them as well. We also felt the water in the swimming pool was over chlorinated. Lastly, the furniture as well as the room in general did not seem to be well maintained. I also would not recommend the suite package, since i did not feel it was worth the cost. You basically get rose petals spread all over the room, a bottle of champagne, some candles, a box of firewood and a box of chocolates. Since they dont seem to do housekeeping after a day the rose petals will start to decay, not a very nice site.

Every staff member went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We enjoyed the room, food, entertainment, and the cute deer who make their prescence!
