Crowne Plaza SUFFERN-MAHWAH by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Maintenance walked into my room unannounced and when I complained to the staff they were defending the guy that walked into my room instead of hearing out my concerns. Wouldn’t recommend.

The room was nice. Front desk was extremely helpful. Housekeeping really needs work. I purchased a martini halfway in the week and the glass sat in our room until we left this morning. My husband dropped a piece of a French fry on the floor the first evening there and it was still in the room when we checked out this morning.

The front desk helped us when we needed a cab after being stranded at the renaissance fair! very thankful for the service.

Building and room in great conditions

Fairly nice hotel with a restaurant on site. Check in desk staff were friendly. Cleaning staff pushed hard for checking out earlier than 11. No hair dryer in rooms. They did have room service but overall just mediocre.

Used to stay at this hotel a lot would never go back there

No cell phone service in rooms

I was visiting a relative in hospital and this hotel is about an eight minute or so drive from Good Samaritan hospital. Hotel itself is very nice, rooms are clean and attractive, bed was comfortable, staff were nice and dinner in the restaurant was very good. Waiter/bartender Chantal was great and very friendly. Hotel room price was reasonable. My only complaints are: 1. Bathroom had practically no space for toiletries. There was very little counter space so I had to keep my toiletries bag and flat iron in my luggage. I did like the makeup mirror attached to the wall though. 2. Breakfast was nothing special. It's a buffet with plenty of options to choose from, and a fresh omelette station but sausage links were hard and inedible after being in the chafing dish for awhile. We paid about $50.00 for two people who don't eat that much in the morning, so would have preferred the choice to order a la carte. We went to The Best Diner the next day and the breakfast was excellent. 3. Coffee in the lobby was cold every afternoon. I drink decaf and the coffee urn did not keep the coffee warm. The first day, I realized there was no microwave in my room to heat it up, so had to dump it. The next day, I found a microwave in the little market shop in the lobby, so I was able to heat it up. They should definitely pay attention to the coffee they offer guests all day and make sure it's nice and warm and fresh. Other than those few things, I liked the hotel and would stay there again.

Immaculately clean, lovely staff , nice toiletries in bathroom

Big hotel with central atrium. Rooms are typical Holiday Inn. Bathrooms are very small. NO CARPET in bedrooms Bedding is average. Glass shower door is permanent so hard to gain access to controls only when in the shower Can hear guests above you. Food service- Breakfast is $21.95 each and buffet style with help - serves same food as a Holiday Inn with BIG COST. No lunch available and One entree selection for dinner. NO OTHER DINING AROUND HOTEL - have to order for delivery. Staff very accomodating. Not enought counter space in the bathroom for two people personal items. Closet is small.

It was very … elegant

I was very happy with my experience as a customer of your hotel.

Quiet, conveniently located, nice lobby area, room had a little dampness to it as felt on the sheets for some reason and bathroom sink small if two people get ready but for the most part everything was adequate in the room.

This is a nice hotel right off the highway, and breakfast is really good! Clean, quiet and safe
