This was the worst hotel room I ever walked into. We walked in looked around and turned to walk right back out to get a refund. The sheets were questionable if they had even been washed. The bathroom door has a hole punched in it. The tub had most of its coating stripped. And it smelled terrible!

There was no tv remote in the room. Had to get it from the office. When i tried to watch tv, i kept getting an onscreen promt to sign in to the Days Inn Owensboro wifi. I couldn't. Then the remote quit working except for the power button. There was leftover soap and shampoo in the shower as well as a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower rod. There was a dried spot of something that looked like dried blood on the floor. The sink was ridiculously slow to drain. The "breakfast" was terrible. "Pancakes" if you could call them that, about 3" in diameter, tasted like cardboard. There was a gap under the door and the curtains didn't close all the way.

Got a room At the last minute at this property came up. Friendly owner. Restaurant on site. Bed was comfortable but bathroom in need of remodel. Leaky faucet. Tub delaminated badly. The curtains let a lot of light in and you had to pull it over the doorknob to keep people from seeing in. You get what you pay for and it was better than sleeping in my car!
