Everything was great, we took two cars and we were able to leave one of them at the hotel before check in time. The room was clean and neat, the only problem and it really wasn't a problem, one of the bedside lights wasn't plugged in. Other than that it was great

The front desk staff was beyond rude. Our check in staff was kind and courteous , however the evening staff (a couple) greeted us rudely. After experiencing her outburst regarding our extremely well mannered Golden Retrievers, we laid awake most of the evening, contemplating packing up and leaving Days Inn. We were very upfront regarding our dogs. We never, ever tried to “SNEAK” them in. As Senior Citizens, and a disabled Veteran we totally live by the rules. At check out, the ranting, over the top desk clerk, started a conversation regarding that fact that we felt we were treated poorly. We couldn’t understand what she was saying, but she most certainly never offered an apology. The language barrier was difficult, and perhaps her customer service skills would benefit with some peer coaching.

Thegrounds were in terrible shape…didn’t look like it had been mowed at all…our room, the fridge didn’t work, the phone didn’t work, when I went down, the lady had earphones on and watching tv while folding towels….I had to call back after we changed rooms, and she never did answer…very disappointed.

The BAD - Thick 8" diameter drywall "mud" patches in 4 locations in shower not sanded nor painted. Bathroom handle side door looked like a dog had been locked in the bathroom and heavily damaged the door jamb and part of the door. Most walls in room had marks and scrapes. The TV did not turn on the first night and too late to request help. Second night found the TV unplugged behind the heavy dresser. Plugged it in and nothing happened. Requested help and a hotel employee came right away and played with the controller and then he found the cable box cable to the TV in the wrong input connection. He changed it and the TV came on. BUT the volume at maximum on the controller was so low on the TV, we had to lay with our heads at the foot of the bed to hear it. There was NO volume button on the TV to turn up. Then the controller would not turn the TV off. We had to unplug it !!!! The breakfast - Sausage looked steamed not fried or baked. GRAY Winkley horrible looking mini tubes. The eggs warmer was empty and I asked if more were coming. Nice lady said yes. I saw her walk by the open kitchen door 2 minutes later with a big platter of yellow material. I heard a microwave door open and close, then buttons beeping. Microwave came on for 30 seconds. She brought the fluffy looking yellow material out on a plate and proceeded to fill the warmer with the eggs, literally SMASHING them down into the warm to make it all fit. She turned the warmer up and walked away.

We booked this hotel because we wanted a nice rustic room with a working hot tub on the premises. We wanted the hot tub after a long motorcycle road trip. We would have stayed elsewhere if we knew the hot tub wasn't working. We were getting packed up to check out when a staff member knocked on the door at 10:20 am asking when we were leaving. I know it was at 10:20 am because he had his cell phone held up showing the time. I thought that was rather rude and pushy of him. I told him that since checkout was at 11:00am, we would be leaving before then. He made a scoffing noise and walked away. About 10 minutes later we returned the keys to the front desk, but nobody was at the front desk. There was a note with instructions to call a phone number which we did. Then we left.

There was no heat in our room, 48 degrees outside, 64 in room. It rained, windy, cold and we had gone to a car parade. The gal did give us an extra blanket, thank goodness, but so cold. Thermostat had to be replaced and no other rooms.

The place is not in good shape. There are lots of dings in walls with some with pretty shoddy patch jobs. The fire exit at our end of the building had a broken key card entry, so their solution was to leave it open to anyone, then put a pad lock on it after 10:00pm. What if there was a fire? The door on our room was cracked from an apparent kicking in and it wasn't repaired correctly. The dead bolt would not line up with the hole in the metal plate that it was meant to receive it, so we could not lock the door. They sent a maintenance guy to fix it, but he took one look at it and said, "I'll be back." He never came back. Travelers beware.

Service people were wonderful to interact with. Room had a wonky smell- had to go to the grocery store to buy room spray- location of our room was loud, right in the foot traffic area. Room phone range randomly several times over the course of our stay and we did not have any housekeeping services come by during our stay to check if we needed anything or take our trashes.

1) No phone in room 2)Price at check in was higher than stated online. 3) Only other guests on entire floor were placed next door by the manager, Rani. Not up to typical Days Inn level. Had to wait to check in, staff were friendly but didn’t know how to use their computer. TV had been previously connected to a game system and not properly put back. I called the front desk and was told the manager would be right down to fix it… 2 hours later, still not fixed. So I did it myself, it was a pain to get the cords out from behind the dresser and the navigate the set up process. Furnishings are very worn. The bed however was very comfortable. No iron or ironing board… when I left, I checked to see what was offered for breakfast and passed. The price is fair, just be prepared for a lower level of service.

We were on a ski trip and chose this place in large part because they advertise having a hot tub. It was broken and was dry and looked ignored. Also, I called ahead asking about a rollaway and included that need in the message section when booking the room. Their 2 rollaways were in use the first night so not available.

The toilet overflowed across from are room in to hall. They had no one to clean it up on staff so just left it. The water came in to are room creating a smell the next day. We ask to be moved. They did move us but the roll away bed they gave us had mouse poop on it. Not friendly place and not a clean place.

For the price I paid it was an okay value, however both the sink and shower drains were slow, the hair dryer did not work, the guest laundry was broken, and the bed sheets had some black paint or ink splotches. For a cheap hotel it's fine, but I expected it to be cleaner.
