My husband & our two mid-20's boys were in Boston for a couple of nights in February. The weekend....became windy, snowy, slushy. We had a lot of luggage as one son had graduated a Navy School up in Newport and we were in Boston for a couple days - before we put him on a plane to report to his next duty station. He had 8 pieces of luggage- a big move! The staff greeted us warmly as we drove in from Newport --arrived earlier than check-in time. Rooms ready and they allowed us to check in early -- so that we could settle, flip around to go out into Boston asap--desiring to take the nearby Metro. "Sing" at the front desk, advised me on a call, and I booked this location because of him. He was spot-on with: the convenience of Metro line into town, less costly to park our car at this Doubletree (vs downtown), walkable to Kennedy Library (esp in the warmer months) and the service of hotel shuttles to/from airport and! to a few local restaurants in Southside if one were to come back from downtown & wanted to eat nearby. (The neighborhood is quieter). While we ate mostly in the North end, one night we did go local. Excellent service! used the shuttles to/from the airport when the weather got bad & we had to get our son to an early flight. -All drivers were friendly, helpful & waited for us to get him in-drove us back -Desk and hotel staff very accommodating with info, suggestions on arrangements. -our rooms were very comfy & clean -we just booked again for June

This hotel is a great price as I had to be at Logan early the next morning. Great shuttle to Airport, room was clean as a whistle. The bed was so so comfortable. I was really impressed.
