Good overall

Amazing quaint property in the wonderful Key West. The room and facilities were excellent. Very convenient and close to the bars restaurants and shops in Duval Street and centrally located to explore the landmarks in Key West. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Location was perfect. And free parking was a plus.

Frequent traveler to kw and I’ve stayed at this property in the past so decided to book here again. I’ve stayed at hotels ranging from fancy to no-frills. Chose pool-view room and it was both spacious and clean which was appreciated. The room has a counter top area with microwave, mini fridge, dishes, utensils. No sink to wash them off, so if you use them they will need to sit on the counter until you receive housekeeping the following day. This didn’t matter since we ate out at restaurants or brought back baked goods. In keeping it honest, here’s why I feel staff etiquette needs improvement. On our final night around 10 pm, a group of people were in the pool blasting music being loud & obnoxious. Carried on past 11 and was disruptive to sleep since we had pool view room. I was told at check-in that there’s an after hours number somewhere. Went to look for it and found a number posted at office near lockboxes. I felt bad to have woken an employee with a call, but for a noise complaint of folks being rowdy seemed a valid reason. The man was not pleased & had his employee next morn ask my husband how we got the phone number INSTEAD of apologizing that we endured 1.5 hour of a late night pool party resulting in offenders removed from pool. They forgot after hours number is posted outside office lol. It’s not my place to reprimand other vacationers. It’s your responsibility to enforce quiet hours & ensure the tranquility you advertise. The grounds are well maintained.

Great location: Safe, clean secure, flooded with light. I’ll give a score of 9/10 because of the non existent water pressure in the shower and the bed pillows have expired and require replacement with fluffy sturdy, huggable pillows! Also need an extra comforter for ease and comfort for sleeping. Excellent support from the front desk young man ( sorry, I forgot his name; He lived in Miramar.), who gave great recommendations… Thank uou!

Great staff and wonderful location. Loved the pool even though we were on the other side of the street. I really liked that it was on a quiet end of Duval Street.

We really enjoyed our stay ! It’s a beautiful property ! Very relaxing garden, pool area! Location was great - as it’s relatively quiet, but close to all of the restaurants, attractions!

We loved our space and the security of the property. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. We hope that we are always able to stay in the same room when we visit!

Courteous staff, beautiful property, and located in Old Town Key West

Property was very clean and staff was friendly especially the manager Hamid Only complained was the shower…water was either too hot or cold, had to keep adjusting to get it right but it will only last for a little.

Friendly customer service, explained rules/regulations well, gave a nice tour before handed keys over.

We stayed at Douglas House the last weekend of June and while hot.. we are from Florida so we were prepared.. it was gorgeous this time of year! The hotels central location is a dream. Any thing you can think of to eat or drink is a short walk away. We even rented a golf cart and barely used it. We rented #14 a standalone one bedroom. It was huge! Plenty of space for everything you brought and then some. The shower is gorgeous and very big. The bed was comfy and plenty of pillows were provided. The room was kept tidy daily if asked for and new towels added. There is a kitchenette with a small fridge that I didn’t think we would use but ended up appreciating. A CLEAN ice machine always full right in the courtyard. Coffee is always on and hot no matter the time of day. Love that. A very clean swimming pool surrounded by lots of shade throughout the day. The staff at this hotel could not have been nicer or more helpful. Just about always someone in the office ready to answer questions or give great local recommendations. The location is far enough down Duval to be quiet but still so close to everything important. We would stay here again for sure!

Very nice place to stay. Clean room, nice staff, good price.

Very friendly, walking distance to almost everything. Very clean, our kitchen had all the utensils we needed. I would definitely stay again. The only downfall is the parking.

To start, the staff was amazing; super kind and accommodating. The property itself is right off Duvall, which makes the main strip steps away yet, you don’t have to hear it when trying to get some rest. Best property I’ve stayed at thus far in Key West and we will define returning.
