Nice, friendly hotel. Perfectly situated right near Grand Central Station so you could get anywhere from there easily. Cute Irish bar as part of the property. Our only complaints were two…. first, they totally forgot about our room service breakfast we checked outside our door at the time it was supposed to arrive, 7:45 AM, and no one had even picked up the order form off the door knob. They told us that was the preferred way to place the order. To their credit, once we complained, we got our breakfast within about 10 minutes. Second complaint was that we had to go through asking about three different times to get any washcloths! They finally admitted they don’t like to give washcloths because people get makeup on them and that’s hard to wash off.. But by giving no wash clothes, we were forced to use the hand towel as a washcloth and then make up got on those anyway and then we had no hand towels. Very, very stingy with the towels. However, having said all that, we would still stay there again as it’s benefits overcame these complaints.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was close to transportation and many places to eat. The rooms were a bit dated. The air conditioner did not work. The bedding could also use an upgrade. However, despite the issues I would stay at the Fitzpatrick again.

Our room is fine. The food at the restaurant is good, but the space is dark and it is very crowded and noisy at night. We had to order from room service. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic proximity to Grand central terminal. Easy to walk to Times square and Bryant Park. I travelled with a teen. We had hoped to watch a movie in the room but this was not available. Having said this the bar is teen friendly and the room was very spacious by NY standards.

I love this hotel--the staff is professional and friendly and responsive, and the location is great. This time, though, it was really cold in NY, and the heater was hard to set. The hotel sent an engineer to address the issue--worked--but he had to come back the next day. Still--I will stay again.

I love the hotel, but I think they need to review their long term maintenance procedures. The ancient heating unit in my room would turn off once a day (I was there 3 nights). Staff was helpful and showed me how to reboot it, but I don't think anyone documented my problem. Also the bathroom was spotless, but the inside of the bathroom door really needed a paint job. Great hotel just needs some TLC

The best hotel to travel for the first time to NYC it’s a cozy hotel that has the warmest staff possible, it’s a centric hotel, you can walk and in around 10-15 minutos you’ll be in Rockefeller center or Times Square
