Governors Inn Hotel

It’s a great cheap hotel with friendly and helpful staff :)

Hotel was clean service was good. Room was dated. I felt I was given a bad room because I bought through a third party. My room was above a McDonald's drive thru, They started vacuuming the halls at 730pm. I felt safe within the hotels property but anywhere off of the property was scary and didn't seem safe, huge plus is the free airport shuttle but I don't think Id come back,

This is a pretty convenient location. I'd call it a slightly higher end Motel 6 type of place. The rooms were really large and the staff nice.

Good hotel

The property itself is very nice. The room was beautiful and clean. Nice amenities. Jolene at the desk was wonderful and so helpful and kind. My only concern was the amount of homeless in the area. They are everywhere! The hotel does have some security measures in place, like keeping all the doors locked and having key card access. But I made sure I parked right next to the building directly under a street light and I walked quickly into the building and made sure the door was shut behind me. I was glad I was on an upper floor and not ground level. I'm a woman traveling alone so I don't like being on the first floor. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay.

The first thing you notice when you come in to this property is the clean front. But we had to drive around to the other side to get to a door closer to our room. That's when we noticed the high metal wall with spikes to keep out what??? I don't know but I can guess. The beds are the worst beds I have ever slept on. I have slept on the ground camping and been more comfortable. The "free" breakfast, well yes, its complimentary but very slim pickings. I grabbed a croissant and asked for a microwave, the lady tending to the area took my croissant and put it in the waffle maker to heat it up???? are you kidding me?! We were supposed to stay there again on our way home, I called and asked for a refund because our plans changed, and we would not make it there in time and was rudely told no. They wouldn't even try to work with us on the price. I told them their beds were horrible and was not interested in staying there ever again. The areas surrounding this hotel did not feel safe at all. They did not care at all. I will never stay at this hotel again and I encourage anyone to really think twice before booking at this hotel.

It was just OK. Clean, older, but it was fine for a short night.

The AC.on the window, The all night Heater or AC makes noise, And if you stop that , then you’ll smell the smoke smell , really bad , also the Shore head , took us a while to know how to operate, next time will take my own . And will change the shore head .

Great place! Will definitely will be booking with this place again in the future! The room was very clean, shower was meh but did the job. Nothing out of the ordinary. Free breakfast so thats awesome! Didn’t use the other amenities but overall a great experience and stay

Styaed a few nights, room was a good size, the beds are really high (something to consider if you have mobility issues) towels were poor, every single one we had had holes in or were threadbare in places. Its a little dated but ok for a hotel we used for passing through. Breakfast was basic but good and well managed with friendly staff. Pool is cold! Parking was good

Great stay, but the bed was too hard and blacked-out curtains are needed.

Jolene at front desk and curtesy drivers were super helpful and accommodating. They all were willing to help out and great to deal with.

It was a great stay. Clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was good, with lots of choices. The lady at the breakfast was very nice and attentive. Nice stay overall.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, airport shuttle a definite plus.

The area is a bit sketchy- a few homeless people on the street. The door to the room wasn’t closing unless I used force to push it in. Free parking was a treat.

Always enjoy it here. Pool and amenities are great
