Hampton Inn and Suites Childress

Not as nice as before. The room was very dusty, so we cleaned it ourselves. There was no remote, so had to pick one up at front desk. The room lacked a lamp or light at the desk.

Nice clean room. Had a bulb that was flickering over 1 bed.

This was an overnight stay on our way to another destination. The hotel was easy to find in a good location, with a few food options within walking distance. The foyer and outside of the hotel were lovely. The staff friendly and inviting. The room was well sized and comfortable however probably requires some updating. However we were happy to overlook this because of the friendly nature and staff and surrounding area.

This room was very dirty

We came in super late after a day of traveling. We called to make sure we could do a late check-in, and they were so nice to accommodate us! Beds were comfy. Room was great. Breakfast was good, although the coffee was tepid at best—BUT there is a Starbucks just down the way. We would def stop here again. Thanks!

Clean and safe

HAMPTON INN, Childress, Texas Terrible! We got NO rest. People were playing/ partying in the rooms directly above ours ALL NIGHT LONG. I called the front desk 4 times to get it resolved, The last time being about 3am. They couldn't resolve the problem. All night long, our ceiling and walls were shaking due to foot stomping, heavy running/ walking, jumping, etc, from the tenants above us. I nearly called the police. Turns out some mom took her kids to this hotel for a birthday party because she knew they would bother their neighbors. So her choice with out of control kids prevented us from getting any sleep. Was also told by the front desk that they could not get ahold of their management to help resolve the problem. I want a refund for the room, but Hotels.com has NO phone number to call to make the complaint. Not a good experience. And by the way, the mom got her own room while her minor children were left unsupervised in their own room above ours. NOT RIGHT.

Very welcoming staff.

The continental breakfast was very good, especially the waffles. The area was always clean and the sitting area was relaxing. I liked the big screen TV. Thank you

Corner areas were not clean. Bathroom vanity had 4 inches on each side of floor and there were LOTS of dirt and "other" things back in the corners on the floor😵‍💫

Although this property is a little older, it was clean. Service was very good. It could use a deep cleaning, touch up paint and general maintenance, but otherwise, a nice stay.

Convenient but quiet!

Staff was very courteous and welcoming. Property well lit and rooms very clean.

Nice property to Childress TX

Great

Upon arrival in the room, we discovered that the air conditioner was running a very loud noise. We were told to adress it at the desk in the morning. Prior to checking out, we went into the shower only to discover that that water valve was restricted to inly get warm water. The valve was set to stop there and not to move to the hot water position. I addressed both issues at check out only to be told thay I had to contact hotels.com for any rate adjustment. Agent for hotels com called the hotel attendant immediately and got us a refund.

The front desk worker was great with helping switch my room around to accommodate my disabilities
