Very nice staff. Clean hotel. Convenient and fun area with a nice view but VERY loud. Right next to the train tracks.

Always stay at Hampton Inns when we travel. This location meets and or exceeds my expectations.

Buenas tardes: Estuve hospedada del 24-26 de enero 2025 Llegué hace 2 días a mi país, después de haber recorrido una semana por Canadá. El hotel bueno en general excepto Hubo una situación con el inodoro que se reportó en la mañana pues se desbordó, y la dama que cogio el reporte me indicó que durante el día irían a arreglar el asunto. De por cierto la dama súper agradable, ella muy preocupada por la situación no encontraba como podía subsanar la situación, ella fue la misma con quien hice el check out, la cual me indicó y me mostró que lo había reportado temprano por lo que ella estaba abochornada, no fue su culpa. La habitación estuvo disponible todo el día y así se le indicó pues me marche temprano. Llego cansada a la habitación y me encuentro que no habían hecho el trabajo y el baño inundado. Llame inmediatamente al front desk y a esa hora(11:15 de la noche) aproximadamente llega el personal que estaría resolviendo; El cual solo llevó un destapador de toilet y trató de resolver después de luchar un rato, usó las mismas toallas que yo había tirado en el piso para que no se siguiera dispersando el agua. Usó las mismas para secar el piso ningún tipo de ingiene ; más aún tuve que llamar a uno de mis familiares para que me hiciera de intérprete y le dejé saber que necesitaba que se me limpiara el piso como debe ser y más aún luego de unos otros 20 min. Llego solo con un mapo sin escurridor. También tuve que pedir más toallas porque había usado las misma. Muy indignate

I was very much at peace during my stay, it has a beautiful view of the river walk and the rooms are beautiful inside. The only thing that happened was the power went out, but it wasn't for too long. otherwise wonderful.

I did not enjoy my stay at this property, my car had its window broken while in the property, there was a power outtage and the security was laying down on the couch in the lobby

Riverview could use some help, but very cozy place to stay

The place was really dirty and smelly

It's nice room need more catch up maintenance. Nice water view. But noisy because of the train close. The parking is not free. If you have to pay $22 for it

Everything was ok until I got to room and the housekeeper firgit to remove used QTips and my 2 year old got a hold to them

Great stay! Front desk staff were awesome!

It was a 1 night stay as i was passing thru town and wanted to spend the evening with my daugther as i’ve done at previous other Newark hotels Tim was working the front desk and was so pleasant and easy going. The bartender had the night off but Tim had Coronas in the shop which he held in the office fridge while i watched the game in the bar. He wasnt just nice (and professional) to me, as i sat at the bar i overheard him being the same lovely welcomer to other visitors to the hotel. Hotel itself is clean and pleasant. Only detraction is location next to a trainline. So if you are light sleeper make sure you dont have room 334 or similar (closest to the rail). At the other end of the building you cant hear it. My kid and i are heavy sleepers so not a problem for us. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows & blankets. Plus the friendliness of all the staff just made the stay a pleasure all around. speedway gas station next door for quick grabs. Fab diner about 6 min walk away. harrison Path station is about 10 min walk away. Indoor Pool and workout facilities are fabulous.
