Great affordable place to stay in San Diego! The hotel itself seems like an older building, but the rooms are nicely updated and very comfortable! Our bed was great, loved the big shower, and the hot breakfast in the morning was nice. The room is small but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyways besides sleeping and showering, so it was everything we needed for a few nights. Would stay here again!

What struck me first was how modern it looked inside. Never stayed at a place where power was controlled by the key. Only minor issues i had was lack of hot water in shower and the AC leaked but was quickly repaired by maintenance. I left my tablet when i checked out and received a call from Ana that i had left it. Very nice of her and love the honesty.

It was mostly fine, and based on prior reviews, not a recurring issue, but the bedspread wasn’t very clean, there was sand in the sheets, and the ceiling was leaking. The walls are pretty thin, and we were woken up by a phone call at almost midnight due to a wrongfully accused noise complaint, which should have been investigated first before calling. (Had they gone to check first, it would’ve been obvious that it wasn’t us.) Otherwise it was close to the train and convenient for our needs. The bathroom was pretty nice and unique!
