High Desert Inn

I think the towels are 10 years old. They have threads on them. The staff throws your shampoo and other items on the table in the trash without asking you while supposedly cleaning the room. Security is terrible. I saw homeless people around many times and interestingly enough, I saw someone trying to steal my food order that was left at my door at the last minute. The towels and bed linens in the room that needed to be changed are created in a very funny way as if they were just fixed and changed. When I touched the curtain of the room I stayed in, I felt sick. Because there was so much dust on it, I think it had not been taken down and washed since the hotel was first established. There is a lot more to say but I can say this. I will never even pass by it again.

A homeless man broke into my room while i was out. Police got him out of room and arrested him, left his dirty property all over room and hotel staff just removed it without cleaning and expected me to stay in same room

People literally came up and asked if they could use my shower when I leave.

Justin the front desk guy was great!! He was very patient when i checked in crazy late and we had a moment talking about EDM. The room was fine though there a bug in the bathroom but the front desk is why I would recommend this place

I travel a lot. This is easily the worst place I've ever stayed. The signs in the lobby seem to indicate that they are trying to not be a place of prostitution or trafficking; Loud, rough sex throughout the entire night that woke us up through the very thin walls suggest otherwise. Overall, the place was just run-down and scuzzy. Several roaches greeted us. All sheets and pillows had stains. One of the pillows was completely flat, and the other was just a pile of lumps. The shower floor was a mess of paint splatters and scrapes - did not look clean at all. The toilet was chipped and had no lid. Had i not already paid for the room and been absolutely unable to drive any further, we would have left before setting our stuff down. We didn't even do that. We took the bare minimum of necessities and left everything else in the car in case there were bed bugs. But that made us fearful that our car would be broken into. Absolutely the worst night I've ever spent. They must be paying people for the good reviews.

Staff members were friendly overall. Room was clean and overall was worth the price value. Shower could be upgraded with new head and water valve.

All I can say is that I would recommend you just staying in your car. Roaches run around all over and that rite there ruined it for me rite away and could not relax for a minute knowing those little hitchhikers were all over much less sleep.
