Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda Downtown

This was one of the most disappointing stays for me in a Hilton property. As a loyal Hilton Gold Member, I was looking forward to a pleasant stay. While checking in on Friday, 2/21, the Front Desk associate at the hotel informed me of a $ 20 F & B credit or 700 Points credit per day I would be entitled to. I did not request this information, but she volunteered it and even shared the F &B options I could enjoy at the property. I had detailed discussions with her on the topic. With this information, I had drinks at the Bar on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. However, upon receiving the final invoice, another Front Office staffer informed me that I could not avail of the F &B credit as I had reserved the booking through a third party. This was shocking and completely unfair. Had the Hilton staff not provided me with incorrect information, I would not have used the breakfast options at the property. This is deeply disappointing and I am not sure why as a patron I should not get the benefit as this was a mistake on the part of the Hilton staff.

Comfortable

From the outside looks very new but once you get to the rooms? Is not what expected. Very old carpets, the sheets looked very very used and some damages, the bathroom roof in pieces i mean for what they charge per night? The hotel rooms should look more luxury or prettier..

This is a good hotel in downtown Bethesda

We had a great stay. The staff was great, Cordelia at the front desk was very helpful!

I came at 8pm but I was told the rooms had been ready yet and I had wait two hours to get my rooms

Good Price, Great Location and Wonderful Amenities!

I ended up checking out early because my room smelled so bad and the bathroom was extremely dirty. The staff were gracious and offered a refund but the cleanliness being so bad is why I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Someone at the parking garage that is working there with the safety vest try to break into my car trunk and steal stuff when I asked to speak to the security manager they said the parking lot does not belong with us when I asked to check the cameras they said they cannot do that. You can call the police

Nice clean quiet room. Close to Metro. Good Indian restaurant nearby. Pleasant staff.

Excellent service and the room was nice and clean.

The hotel was not full and the room I was given was by the ice machine on a Saturday night. People used it late and often. Lots of people laughing, slamming doors, and getting ice at 3-5 am. Not a good choice, Hilton.

It was as expected except too expensive.

Daniel was at the desk and very friendly; However, we were not told of the new dining or if there was a continental breakfast. The dinner was good there. During breakfast, there were dirty dishes all over the tables and the counters and it was not busy as all. Not a great value for breakfast and the selections were that of a typical continental breakfast and way to expensive.

The hotel was great except for the parking I had to park at a parking meter and feed the meter every hour because my truck would not fit in the hotel's parking garage

Quiet and helpful staff

The maid from El Salvador was extremely helpful in dealing with a broken Keurig. I had my iced tea in a very short time because of her. Little things matter. The receptionist bothered to look up my account, and I realized that I was not getting points for my stays. Again, a bit extra on her part. Even if an employee was not interacting with me, they always smiled and acknowledged by presence in passing. As I said, it’s the small things that matter,
