Holiday Inn & Suites RICHMOND - WEST END by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and had a large selection. The cinnamon buns in the morning were warm and delicious. I wish the parking was FREE since I am an IHG REWARDS member. Hearing that the parking garage under the hotel had cameras made me feel very secure since I had to leave things in my car overnight.

I like the floors in the room. Carpet leaves smells, moisture, and stains. However, there were crumbs and potato chips beside and under the chair. If I hadn’t dropped my phone I wouldn’t have seen it. This is a brand new hotel so the staff probably thinks it’s ok to do the traffic areas. I was so disappointed. I don’t care for the sink to be in the common area, I prefer it in with the toilet so I can wash my hands before touching the doorknob. Also, my bed didn’t have a blanket, the top sheet. There were no linens in the closet either. This seems like a lot off complaints but I just want to keep this new hotel in great shape. Holiday Inn has been around since I was a child and most young people think it’s old fashioned. That’s not true, they are just a history making hotel. I will definitely give this hotel a try again.

Bed was very comfortable! The only thing is that the shower has no pressure at all and hot water take a while!
