Front Desk service was horrible

It was great from start to finish!

I’ve stayed in other Doubletree locations and prefer it to other hotels. I’ll give the pros and cons of the downtown Charlotte location stay on Feb 8, 2025. Cons first: no fan in bathroom. Toilet is very low to floor and slow to flush. Carpet grungy. Room reeked with smell of food odors coming up from restaurant (Room was on 4 th floor). Confusing arrival as to how to access parking garage. It was poorly labeled on outside of building and no instructions on website. Had to ask for directions from an attendant of another parking lot. Saturday night drag racing and street noise made it hard to get to sleep until 2:00 am. Pros: shower head, pressure, temperature awesome. Toiletries in pumps on wall and quality products. Great weight and absorption of towels. Ultra clean. TV, fridge, lights, outlets all in good working order. Appreciated the bottled water in cabinet. Beds, bedclothes, pillows excellent and comfortable. No smoke odor. Plenty of outlets and USB ports. Decor is minimalist, modern and tasteful. Food in “Forchetta” restaurant over priced. Server excellent but kitchen preparation slow for simple order. Server and chef took extra steps to provide “tiramisu” which was pictured on website but not listed on menu.

Great place to stay for the convenience of attending a concert at the stadium, which is almost next door.

My stay was good , just wish my room had a microwave so I could’ve heat up my leftovers from the restaurant. I was disappointed in the parking rates of $32 a night self parked and Valet $40 a night I will definitely stay here again

If you are visiting Charlotte, I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Was very close to Spectrum Center so I could park my car at the hotel and walk everywhere.

Showed up sick and the front desk guy was amazing! Walked me to my room and got me bottle of water on the way. I appreciated him so much! Very kind!
