Holiday Inn CHICAGO OAKBROOK by IHG, an IHG Hotel

I have experienced staff walk into my room and use the spare key to steal my money from the safety deposit. I will not trust any money and the safety deposit as the stuff you was spare key stole your money and your credit card. Be careful.

Wonderful location. Hotel just need a modern makeover.

We were greeted and checked out by Malka. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. A smooth check in and check out was the highlight of our visit!

Room was still dirty (candy wrappers and papers all over the floor), refrigerator was not cool even let alone cold, the front part of the heater fell off when I went to turn the heat on. Staff was nice

Second time we stay here. Service was really good, rooms very clean.

The hotel was very worn down. Hotel room door didn’t close all the way. It looked like someone had tried to break in the room at one point. The shower dial was broken, etc

Solid hotel in a good location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Property is a tad dated, but it is very well kept and beds etc are updated. Friendly service at the front desk and the service in the attached bar was great. The breakfast-if included- is not worth visiting.

Very little parking for guests

I enjoy a quiet and nice night. There are several options to go out for dinner at a walkable distance.

I got charge 50$ extra than what my original price was supposed to be and they wouldn’t explain on why they were charging me more than what the website said I was supposed to pay which it would’ve been 129.99$ but I ended up paying 179.99$

Nice accommodations, bar louie was convenient and great music Saturday. Loved my stay.

When we got there, that was no rooms ready at 3:30 check-in was at 3 o’clock. They gave us a room walked in. It was dirty and they had to pull the water in the middle of the bathroom. We prepaid for the breakfast and got down there for the breakfast and it was a mess. We couldn’t eat it, but we were still charged for it.

How the toilets didn’t flush all the way, unknown object under the beds.

This property was not clean at all the sheets smelled of men’s cheap cologne. There were dirty towels in the bathroom, trash in the trashcan and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. There was still candy wrappers on the floor by the bed. I couldn’t even sleep in the bed because it smelled so strong of men’s cheap cologne. The bathroom was dirty. The whole place smelled like marijuana and there was noise in the hall up until past 11 PM. I used to think Holiday Inn was a good place to stay. I will no longer be wasting my time at Holiday Inn it is become just another motel 6.

We had an awesome stay. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Easy check in and out. Friendly staff. Pool was loud and overcrowded so we did not use the pool. Room only had 1 chair so someone had to sit on the soft bed. Bed was comfortable. Room was small. I cant upload a photo but if i could it would be the view from our window. A rock topped roof!
