Holiday Inn Express & Suites ALPHARETTA - WINDWARD PARKWAY by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was marginal most mornings with no cinnamon rolls and only eggs after 9. My main issue was getting a refund for unused days. I had a medical emergency and had to leave early. When making the reservation, I had to prepay for my entire stay. The hotel only refunded one day after repeated requests.

The staff in the kitchen was remarkable? The last thst was preparing the food was so friendly and nice, always had a huge smile on her face and she made sure to tell me good morning. I appreciated thst, however, the front desk rep didn’t say a word to me she worked at night and when I would pass by no eye contact or no greeting. One thing that was inconvenient was only one of the the elevators were working..

We loved our stay here. Everything was great. Full of restaurants all around. If staying here i really recommend going to avalon as well.

Convenient to amphitheater (concert). Staff was BEYOND friendly and kind. Great breakfast options.

Where do I begin? Horribly outdated and worn out. Not super clean. Bare minimum. Not even a bar of soap to wash your hands with. The fold out couch bed mattress was covered in crumbs and even a giant toe nail clipping. GROSS. Mold on the bathtub caulk. Random hairs everywhere. There was some sort of substance droplets on the night stand. The door latch was loose and barely functional. The sheets were clean, however. NOT worth the cost at all.

Received room with no microwave and only decaf coffee.. went down stairs to get regular coffee

I have stayed before also. I am very pleased with the hotel. I recommend it to everyone. Especially Samuel at the reception was very friendly.

Overall good experience for our stay. When we checked in there weren’t any towels in our room but it seemed like they had a lot of guests staying. Our room was clean and spacious, breakfast was okay not as many options as we thought.

We went down for breakfast and all the breakfast was gone and they didn’t bring any more out. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Good location, decent parking.

Everyone was friendly, the hotel was clean and sanitary. The gentleman who checked us in was so nice and polite.I love my stays at the Holiday Inn.

My room was upgraded to a queen suite because a 2 queen bed room were all booked. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good.

It's pretty run down and dirty

There were several issues. The main one being the toilet seat was literally broken in half, it was unusable. We brought this to the attention of the front desk staff (complete with pictures) less than 5 minutes after checking in. We were told it would be fixed but it wasn't....We get that things break but when you bring it to someone's attention and you're told it would be fixed you expect it to be fixed. We even asked for another room because we had literally set our bags down and went to use the washroom when we noticed the issue. The Pool was absolutely filthy and unusable and we had cockroaches in our room. To top it off there was what we are pretty sure was a homeless person skulking around the property wondering the hallways. Hey, the staff was friendly enough but we would never stay at this property again. The place definitely has potential but the condition it was in when we stayed there was totally unacceptable.

Dirty room, wet carpet in front of air conditioner. Phone did not work.

Pool was dirty and not usable. No lounge chairs. I had specifically planned to lend the afternoon by the pool. Ran out of food at breakfast an hour before buffet was to close. All the tables in that area were nasty and obviously had not been wiped all morning.

David and staff were very customer accommodating at check in and during our 2 night stay. Will be great when new mattresses are placed in double rooms during upgrades.
