Holiday Inn Express & Suites COLUMBUS - EASTON AREA, an IHG Hotel

I walked into the room and found the carpet covered in stains. Coffee maker had brown buildup in the water reservoir. Had no hot water and was told to let it run for 15 minutes.

I liked this hotel and would stay again. However, there were some vehicle break-ins that occurred during our stay, not our vehicle, but 3 others. I thought the cost was a little high for what it was. However, it was clean and a decent place to stay for the night. Location was a little hidden, which I think made it more likely for break-ins, but it was convenient to Easton and other attractions.

Rooms are given out on a first come basis not by what room you reserved. Good luck talking to a manager when your room is wrong and amenities are broken

Great establishment

Great for what we needed it for. Awesome location. Safe & really close to college and shopping. Breakfast good.

Everyone was really nice, the breakfast was enjoying and overall a very nice stay. I would definitely stay here again. It was convenient from stores you might need but no loud traffic noises. :)

I requested a crib for my reservation and upon asking them multiple times, they never gave me one. I called the front desk multiple times and no one answers, despite someone being there. Terrible service. I'm not coming here again.

Front desk staff were super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean, spacious and cozy. We did have a guest above us that was pretty noisy but we overlooked that as we believe it was a smaller kid.

Upon arriving the staff were very friendly. Check in was smooth and seamless.

Nice property and great if flying early

Property was conveniently located to alot of retail/shopping. The kids enjoyed the pool; however, I think it had too much chlorin. Our eyes and noses, including mine and I didn't swim were irritated for several hours after we left the pool. The conditions of the rooms needs to be updated or at the very least professionally cleaned. The carpet in the room was badly stained. I didn't even want to walk on it barefoot. The chair furniture in the room had rips, holes, and stains in the fabric. I could tell that the sink in the bathroom had been completed cracked in half and they put it back together. Not done by a professional though as it had a rough end that scratched us when trying to wash our hands. The breakfast leaves much to be desired. It was just so so. Also! For locals, beware that they put a $500 hold on your card for damages. That amount was very surprising to me. Lastly, around midnight the fire alarm went off! I rushed myself and 4 10yr girls out of the room and down the stairs, only to hear the front desk telling someone on the phone that it was a false alarm. NO ONE actually came out and directly spoke to us customers that were just standing around in the lobby wondering what was going on.

Pros: Comfortable bed, good location. The room had some updates. Affordable. Cons: TV not updated, stations limited, unable to use my netflix/streaming. Couch had stains on it. Bathroom counters questionably wiped down (ring marks from cups, etc.)

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was so helpful and were very friendly and kind. Our family had a great time. We will definitely be back to stay again next time.

It was nasty in the room. The ceiling leaked in the shower…room had a musty smelll… couch had stains all over it… it was in a run down area…..never again!!!!
