Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clearwater/Us 19 N by IHG

The room had a musky smell. No hot water to shower after a long day. Call the front office and they said they would check ,next norning continued with no hot water. The a/c in our room would either freeze you or makes you sweat . No in between . And we kept on. 72F. The place is convenient. Many stores and restaurants around. But overall i do not recommend.

Our room did not feel ventilated and had a musty smell (likely because the windows were sealed shut and the only air circulation came from the AC). The bathroom did not feel clean, the tub was rusted, and the bed had stains, so we used our own covers before sleeping. Breakfast was okay, but the options were the same for all three days we stayed.

Friendly staff, great breakfast options

Check in is stated to be at 3pm. We planned on arriving at 4pm after we hit some attractions for the day. upon arrival, we were informed that our room was still not ready and that they would call us when it was. Around 530 we went back in to see if it was ready yet, as we have 2 little ones under 2 and they both needed diaper changes and to eat/rest. According to housekeeping the room had been ready for a bit, but we never received a call. the delay cause by lack of communication greatly affected the kids and our ability to keep them on a good schedule. As parents, the unreliability was irritating. Especially when check in is advertised as 3pm and it have been nearly 2 1/2 hrs past that by the time we were actually able to get the room. On the contrary, the facility seems clean and the room we had was spacious, clean, and perfect for our needs. We hadn’t had time to check out the pool area and our kids were beyond ready for naps by the time we got there and we chose to not take a late night dip.

The tap water was dirty at first, and there was no hot water. Even after I complained, they said it would take 10 minutes, but the shower still never had hot water.

Location is very convenient. Smell of the room was horrible. We got there late and they do not have the room left. The whole family got headaches next morning. I wish we chose a different hotel.

All the staff was very helpful and positive. The breakfast was amazing in the rooms were clean and kept clean at all times. We come here every year for our vacation and always choose this motel. Thank you so

Small rooms.

Went with my husband and 2 boys (9,11). Stayed in the connected rooms, beds so comfy, great light, clean and good water pressure. So quiet even to take a nap. Breakfast excellent, lots of different options. Walking distance to restaurants even a chick-fila. Maybe the AC unit can be loud at times but the room was so cold we didn’t need it running at night so all good. Well be back here for sure.

We were quite please and satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Everything is nice and clean. The staff is pretty friendly and the breakfast is good as well. Just a few miles to Clearwater Beach and Downtown St. Petersburg.

All was good except the highway noise

Continental breakfast was solid. Shower never got hot, lack of towels, room phone didn’t work and an outlet didn’t work. Staff was very friendly. Location and parking were convenient.

Just an awesome hotel

The key cards constantly had to be re programmed, but the staff was very kind and helped us with that. The breakfast was really good and the room, though the ceiling looked like it had some water damage, it was very clean and tidy. Our room was by the main highway, so it was pretty noisy late at night and in the morning. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come back

The hotel room was very dark even with all the lights on. The refrigerator was unbalanced & rocked every time we opened it. The metal bar that the shower curtain was on was rusted up & looked gross. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was VERY LOUD. It was so loud we only turned the bathroom light on when absolutely necessary. Otherwise the staff were nice & the location was great.

everything was good except the reservation got mix with someone name. So I have to book a second at the hotel, make it not very convenience. Also got charged for No Show since they can’t locate my second room.

There was no hot water at night. The place could use some updating. Bathroom was old. Breackfast was scarce and limited.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good.
