We had a great one-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Newark Airport in Elizabeth, NJ. The hotel was quiet and very clean, with thoughtful touches like Dove amenities that made the stay even more comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy, and I want to give a special mention to Dayron at the front desk, who was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The parking lot was well-lit, and the grounds were nicely maintained, which added to the overall positive impression. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant place near Newark Airport.

My stay occurred on a day all planes were cancelled at Liberty National Airport. There was a line out the door and around the building. Thank God I had a reservation.
Najah, a solo employee at the front desk, managed the situation SUPERBLY!! Outstanding customer service, greeted everyone with a pleasant smile, patience and thoughtfulness. She controlled the atmosphere with her professionalism & hospitality. She desires a raise & promotion to teach others. Thank you!

Easy to get to from the airport. Clean lobby and room. Very helpful staff. Nothing within walking distance so just used door dash for dinner.

2 problems w/my stay: (1) very poor lighting in room, just 2 lamps and one had crazy bright white bulbs, one of which flickered, (2) Epoch Times on offer in library, which is an overly political publication and not serious journalism. Will never stay in another Holiday Inn Express for allowing this in the lobby.

The manager was the one that checked me in and he must of been getting ready to go home for the day because he was rushing to get me out of the way. I ask all the questions because he wasn’t informative. Then I found out later that he overbooked my room when someone else walked into my room. I went downstairs to see what happened and another gentleman help me with the situation and was very apologetic. I was shocked to know that the manager was very irresponsible in my case. I probably won’t stay here again
