Holiday Inn FRENCH QUARTER-CHATEAU LEMOYNE by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Not bad

The food option at the property was not good. It closed over an hour early and the staff was less than friendly. The shower did not work properly. And there was hair in the sink. The front desk staff were very friendly. The historical feel of the building was appreciated. But the drug needles in the gutters diminished the charm.

The property was great!!! It was close to everything. We came to drop our luggage off and were able to check in early. The only drawback was the ac in the room was not working great. That was the only reason for 4 stars. We were there one night so we survived.

We enjoyed sitting on our balcony everyday.

There was a mistake during check in but it was easily fixed!!!

I loved the pool late in the evening with the low lights. Very soothing atmosphere. My bed also was amazingly comfortable. I felt safe and the staff were the absolute best. ❤️

There was no Microwave inside the room. The Bathroom was very small. The room window panes were not clean. I don't believe the bed sheets were changed each day, the beds were just made up. The hallway carpets need replaced. I did not see a stairway in case of Emergency Exit. The Hotel Restaurant was not appealing. The only inviting part was the Hotel entrance and Lobby. Unfortunately, the Hotel Room did not smell like the Front Desk area/Lobby.

Great stay

We loved Concierge Eddie and all of the parking attendants! Everyone was friendly and helpful! Awesome location to walk to Bourbon St, Royal St, and our favorite spots! The restaurant was yummy too! Overall a great pick and we had a wonderful time!

Location is good, however found a big cockroach in the room.

We booked this hotel because our IHG contact advised they are really great at anniversaries and a beautiful hotel. She did get the pretty part rigtt he but that was it. The beds feel smaller than doubles and very hard, it’s almost like those store display beds where it’s wood and a nice padding on top…. They did absolutely nothing for us for our anniversary, did not even wish us a happy one. BE CAREFUL they include a hidden resort fee along with your security deposit and that “fee” goes towards a very cheap water bottle and “tokens” for a tour, WATCH OUT, only two tours are offered with the use of these tokens and the price still comes out to be more than when you book it through the vendor themselves!! You also get a drink voucher but their drinks are more than the voucher is worth. TOTAL NOLA SCAM! Pool smelled so bad of pee and was not cleaned even one time the 4 days we were there. I expected more out of an IHG hotel. Carpet in halls are old and worn, smells like pee in the halls. Vending drinks are 2.50 a pop and each machine refuses cash. It is in a good location close to everything, but just be careful of the scam of the “resort fee” and also parking is outrageous and if you don’t tip over $5 they get moody and don’t want to help you anymore. The guy at the tour desk was very rude, I also work in the travel industry and when I told him that the cost of their tours even with discount is more and showed him on my phone, he got pissed and rude. Won’t be back!

not so good, I pay 197.00 for a bag that have a plastic battle and some coins at check out the from desk lady said is welcome bag,100 dollar for a car parking ,the room was musty old carpet .

I loved the old fashioned style the French Quakers. The food was amazing and the peolple were so cool. I had a great time and I will be back.

Loved everything from our check in to our valet Mckenzy. So close to everything with a beautiful view that I just couldn’t believe. They have turtles in the swimming area, beautiful & chic luxury vibes all the way. We were so close, that we were able to return home all day multiple times with no trouble. We didn’t even have to use any taxi service! 15 min walk from Jackson Square, beautiful scenic views. I just couldn’t get enough! 5 stars all the way.

La habitación muy cómoda, siempre con buen olor en todos los lugares, el servicio excelente y nos sentimos muy seguros, lo único que les puedo recomendar que que el restaurante el servicio es ineficiente. Más de 20 minutos en espera para que nos sentaran a desayunar.

I was in town for a wedding and looking for a nice hotel to stay at in the French Quarter. Don't be fooled by this being a Holiday Inn property. It is much nicer, in my opinion. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and pleasant. A specific front desk employee named Serena was fabulous. She was incredibly nice and always had a smile on her face in my comings and goings through the lobby. The rooms are great, much more than what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. I would recommend staying here if you're looking for an affordable hotel that beats expectations and is an all-around great place to place your head at night when visiting New Orleans.
