For me a little smoky in the reception area, better ventilation would solve this. The room was fantastic, clean, spacious & comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good visit. I had a one-night stopover at this property about 18 months ago. Vowed to go back, given proximity to Hoover Dam. I met up with some friends coming from Vegas to hike the railroad Trail, which was really a cool way to start the day. I had my dog with me, and the last time they put me on the first floor near and exit door which was perfect. This time they put me on the third floor on the opposite end from the elevator in a room with carpeting. Not the ideal circumstance for keeping animals. My dog isn't the kind that would have accidents in a room, but there sure was a lot of sniffing on the carpeting so I had to keep my eye on him for the first couple hours. Otherwise it's a great location, and the rooms are set up for just this kind of visit with a microwave and a small fridge. I will probably be back again

I guess I should’ve assumed this, but because it was a casino it was very smoky. My son and I are both very sensitive to smoke so that was kind of frustrating. Our room did not smell of smoke at all, though. We just couldn’t be in any of the common areas of the hotel. There were multiple restaurants, but all of them were inside the casinos which my son was not old enough to go in. It was incredibly convenient to everything we wanted to do - explore Boulder City and Meade Lake and tour the Hoover Dam. It also had a fitness center, a pool/hot tub, and laundry facilities, which were all nice to have. The room had a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee pot. All in all, especially for the price, it was exactly what we needed. Just wish it hadn’t been smoky and want to warn people about that in case, others have sensitivities and or allergies to smoke.

This place is a joke. Very overpriced for what you get. All descriptions are very misleading. Broken things in the room, only one "restaurant" open, heavy smoke smell everywhere. Our "lake view" is a tiny sliver if we lean against our window and look sideways. Very outdated and not what we were expecting. We will NEVER stay here again.

No Ice available on any floor, you have to get it from front desk, then no ice buckets, it was in a plastic bag, i was told "just keep it in the bathroom sink" thats disgusting. We were told at front desk that there were several venues on site to eat. We went to one and there was a sign that said " be right back". 15 minutes later a worker came and said there is no one working here and at the others too. We drove 10 miles to town to eat.

All appeared to be well at check in then we discovered how very understaffed the property is. We were given a zip lock of ice since the ice machines were out of order ON ALL FLOORS. Only 1 room key per room. Bed and small table only in the room. The space for chairs and writing table were empty. No bag for laundry. No extra pillow and only 2 towels. Sign indication that maid service is every 3 days. Only restaurant is permanently closed. Could be a great place to stay based on location but it isn’t.

Hoover Dam Lodge was a great stayover on our way back from the Grand Canyon. Very comfortable and clean accommodation and very friendly staff. Has a good pool and gym.

when we arrived no one was in the reception.I have to stand for a while and wait.I called the receptionist sitting at the side.In the room there was an open newly popped popcorn on the ground.5 pcs. of facial tissue by the sink and a tear on the bedsheet.It was 9pm and my family was tired to change the room.

The facility itself is extremely nice. But they have no ice machines on the floors you have to go to the front desk for ice. There are no restaurants for sit down meals. They do have a couple snack bars but they are poorly stocked. They have no pit for poker, roulette, craps, etc. Its all high cost machines. It does have a nice swimming pool. It saddens me to write this review because we've been coming here for years and the decline in amenities is heartbreaking.

Great location for hiking and Kayaking. Took way too long to check in and we were the only ones in line.(30) minutes unacceptable. No food to dine into. And, I was really looking forward to the $4 breakfast sandwich in the morning, to find out that they were completely out by 7:45am. Hopefully this will all be better next time we stay here in 2 months.

Unfortunately, the hot tub was not hot (quite cold actually), nor did the jets function.

I booked a rom with two double beds and it was supposed to have a lake view. Instead they put me in a crappy little room with one queen bed and a great view of the parking lot and the freeway. They did change my room but it was such an inconvenience. I just wanted to get settled in and relax. I am disabled and not one staff member offered to help me with my bags. There are no restaurants. All little casinos and slot machines. The staff is very friendly. I probably won’t stay there again. The picture is of the room I booked. I had to go down and talk to the manager, who was awesome, to get switched to the correct room. There were other customers there with the very same issue.
