Hotel Figueroa, an Unbound Collection by Hyatt

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY IF YOU ARE A YOUNG FEMALE. I MEAN IT. This property scammed me out of $750 for a one night stay, and will not respond to any of my calls or messages. My friends arrived at the property without me around 2pm last week, I had called ahead the day before and had my friends name put on the reservation so she could check in while I picked up our rental vehicle. Upon arrival she was immediately told she was unable to check in without me present. Weird but okay. Fine. We check in and all is well, we are maybe in the room for an hour or 2. We are then out for the rest of the night only back to sleep and check out at 12. Upon checking out I was not questioned or informed that I would not be receiving my deposit back, nor the fact that we had allegedly smoked in the room which was another $500 charge. The man at the desk was kind and asked if I wanted a copy of my receipt. I said emailed, we left. No problems. I finally checked my statements on monday, to see a $980 charge. I looked for the receipt I was supposed to be emailed and it was no where to be found. I had to manually visit the Hyatt site to find my itemized receipt and see where the $750 was coming from. Furthermore, no one in my party is a smoker? I have called 3 times and left 2 voice mails, all of which is being ignored. I stay in 20 hotels a year and never have I been treated like this. I have disputed the charges with my bank, what a god awful property. SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Room was small for three people. Hotel inside was beautiful.

Had a wonderful stay

The breakfast was greasy and they charged me three times for my stay. I shouldn’t have to wait for those to fall off. The hotel was beautiful and the room was cute.

Wonderful staff, outstanding decor, comfortable room. I loved the pool and restaurant too! I would definitely return to this lively hotel!

Ambience was upscale. Hotel staff was a bit aloof at times.

Beautiful hotel right in the city near plenty shopping center within walking distance.

Went to a Lakers game to the crypto arena, hotel was only a block away from there. Easy check in, front desk staff was polite. I parked valet with the hotel & they charged me $50-55. The room was nice and clean, for the price & location def worth it. Will stay here again!

The staff from top to bottom was great. Hotel was clean, well organized and convenient to many activities. Unfortunately, the assigned room was the size of a broom closet -- hitting shins just trying to move around. No dresser drawers, no table. They were kind enough to bring up a small fridge-- we had to put it in the closet!

Room was clean and fairly comfortable. There was excessive street noise (room on 12 floor). The window opened, but did not close securely. That may contribute to the noise issue.

Perfect for a quick overnight for a Kings game. Lots of food around.

This was a junior suite. We added a day for the night before (last minute) in a 2 double bed room (also 5 stars). I give 5 stars as a thank you to the staff. When I was checking out, the woman at the front desk asked how my stay was. I was very honest about noise throughout the night - she said there was some type of project happening on my floor in the area at the time and refunded one of my fees. That level of customer service reinforced how really awesome this place is for this area. Coming back - 100% (kiddo loved the pool)

The artwork and art books around the lounge were exceptionally nice. The background music in that area was sort of loud. Deme was also very loud. The food at Deme was delicious and beautifully presented, and the pool courtyard lovely. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Excellent staff, all around. Comfortable and convenient. We loved our stay and we will definitely return.

The decor and effort for calm made this space a relax zone. Tranquil just such an enjoyable design space to be in. Loved the pool setting against the juxtaposition of the tall buildings around it. Bedroom was on the small side but did not impact our enjoyment one jot. Hotel well positioned for our travels.

Good location, very nice decor. Had breakfast at their restaurant and it was very good.

Located a block from Crypto Arena makes it walkable and accessible. Overnight valet parking on-site. Great bar and restaurant in the lobby. Gorgeous outdoor pool/deck. We will definitely stay at The Fig next time we visit Los Angeles.
