Hotel Indigo Memphis Downtown by IHG

The hotel itself and staff were great. Jefferson street is very unsafe and only two streets down. Other than this the hotel itself was very safe.

I liked the old but classy decor of the property.

Long wait times for elevator. Only one functional. A/C unit in room leaking water in the floor.So carpet/rug was damp from leaking a/c unit. Contacted front desk about a/c unit was told that she will send maintenance up to take a look. Maintenance never showed up. Price what was booked online was different from final receipt at checkout.

The hotel staff was very nice and the room was cleaned very good. It’s also very accessible to a lot of downtown Memphis monuments.

long elevator wait……one wasn’t working

I booked a room with a king sized bed for a Valentines Day trip with my wife. We get there to check in and find out they don’t have our room available, they’ve overbooked, and we’ve been downgraded to a room with two full sized beds. I was sternly told that they do not have the room, it is what it is. I asked if we could get some sort of partial refund, free parking (parking was $22 found that out upon arrival ), or something. I was told by the associate that she would have to ask her manager, she couldn’t authorize anything (never got anything from the hotel). I ended up getting on Hotels.com chat support and was granted some onekey cash ($50) once we got to our room. Get to the room, it’s 62 degrees and the thermostat doesn’t work. I had to call and get maintenance to come up (they arrived quickly). The room was decently clean but felt a little dated, older tv…etc. The next morning we can’t get the shower to turn off. The handle keeps spinning. Shower pressure and sink pressure is bad too. We finally find a sweet spot where the shower just kind of drips instead of runs. We had paid for the breakfast at Biscuits and Jams but the lady at the front desk had only given me 1 set of the vouchers when I checked in, so I had to go back to the front desk and show my receipt (after a bit of back and forth) to get our other set of vouchers. Rain was flooding from the pool area into the carpeted hallway, loiterers in the lobby always asking me for the wifi password…

Property was very clean and tidy. The front desk staff was friendly and responsive to requests. Definitely recommend.

Nice staff when I checked in. Checking out was just so-so, and apparently someone did a poor job when they built the shower because the shower door kept sliding open. Also, parking is $22 per night... guess i should've read the fine print.

Staff was cheerful and professional

We stayed at this property in Memphis. It was about 6 blocks from downtown. We were able to find free street parking which as a plus. The bed was soft and amazing. The restaurant was delicious. Overall we had a great stay. Staff was very nice.

Huge unresolved issue with parking charges... I paid extra to HOTELS.COM for parking as an up charge. Now the Hotel has double billed for the same item. This is still unreolved. I am 0 and 2 in dealing with Hotels.com in the last year. Quickiy becoming not a fan.

Got a room with 2 queen beds both beds the sheets was nasty like they haven't been changed nice room just very poor housekeeping

The decor was mid century modern, very cool. Would totally recommend!
