Hotel Indigo NYC DOWNTOWN - WALL STREET by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Highly recommended

The hotel is in a good location, but it wasn’t worth the price, and I felt scammed. It stated that breakfast was included, but all they provided was a sandwich and a drink. I moved to the Holiday Inn next door, where they offered a full buffet breakfast. There was no kettle in the room to make tea. Instead, they made me go downstairs to the restaurant just to get hot water. The restaurant manager told me that for $19, they can’t provide a full breakfast — but I didn’t pay $19 to the restaurant. I paid the hotel, which advertised breakfast as included. They also charged me multiple deposits instead of just one. I contacted the hotel, and they promised I would receive my deposit in a few days, but it has now been over a week. This is very unprofessional. The hotel restaurant manager is dishonest and behaved like a crook and the receptionists.

Hotel was excellent. They have a great roof top bar and it was very busy during our stay with both hotel guests and non residents. The room was small but we expected that and it suited our needs. Room was very well maintained and amenities were great. The restaurant serves breakfast which we didn’t use but did eat in the evening and it was lovely. The owner/manager of the restaurant was very friendly & kind giving us hot drinks in the morning when we mentioned we were heading out to get some. Very kind.

Absolutely stunning room. Only issue was staff communication about amenities and vouchers for breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge. There are enough restaurants in walking distance. You can also walk to the pier.

Definitely worth revisiting.

The room was small but well appointed

My score would have been higher had I not got scammed by the woman at the front desk at checkout.. I asked for a taxi to the airport and when I black suburban suv showed up I told her I asked for a taxi… she said it acts as a cab as did the driver.. I was never told how much it would be even though I asked. COMINT to the hotel a few days earlier in a cab I paid $90 with a tip.. that’s what was expecting.. so imagine my shock when we got to airport and was told $115 because I used my card ( no charge in cab) I was shocked and realized I had been scammed… beware… I plan to file a complaint against this employee…

These amenity fees are ridiculous and not transparent. $30 a night is like a parking charge We'll be going to Philly or Boston next time.

The customer service could have been better but over the property was nice and the room was great

Hotel is excellent location and room is nice. Tip for management: we had prepaid breakfast, but was still presented with a bill and had to pay a service fee. Great way to ruin an otherwise good experience. We the people don't care if it's legal or not to invent an extra service fee -- "paid" or "included" breakfast means that.
