Hyatt Place in Flushing has been the hotel we always stay when we travel to the region. To all the merits mentioned above, an airport shuttle available to and from LaGuardia Airport is a plus.

The hotel is 3 minutes walk to train station and they provide shuttle buses to and from the airport.
It is surrounded by restaurants and bakeries.
The room is spacious in New York. Customer service is superb. I left my jacket in the room after checkout. Thanks Jefferson, he addressed my issue and got my jacket back right away.
We will stay here next time in New York.

I was surprised at the parking arrangement with a third party and the cost for parking which was not clearly advertised on website. Parking location was not clearly outlined online.
Room floor had a number of dirty spots. I never imagine that a Hyatts hotel would be so uninviting

The staff was adequate. The drivers for shuttle were good and courteous. The property was not safe! My cousin's wallet and room key were stolen right from the breakfast table in the lobby area (no staff was around for checking in the guests at all! Anybody can sit there and have breakfast!) The thief even went upstairs to knock at the room. Luckily, my cousin's wife was still in the room and responded so that they did not get a break-in from the thief! Also, I was waiting for my shuttle with two families in the lobby area this past Monday (4/7/25). All of a sudden, a young man was sitting behind me. He sat so close to me that I did not feel comfortable and I moved. Once I moved and sat down, he was gone! Apparently, he was not there to wait for the shuttle. No security guard was available at that time (5 pm), either. I will not recommend friends / relatives to stay in Hyatt at that location at all!

Very rarely do all the elements come together in one facility. This place was close to perfect.
The breakfast was also a nice addition. A modern, clean up to date facility with a freshly cooked buffet breakfast.

I would not stay here again. The room was not ready at our appointed check in time which resulted in a 35 minute drive around the block to park our vehicle. After we accomplished that we hung out in the lobby for another 20 minutes. I then checked with registration and while our room was ready they did not call or text me as promised. The bed was much too hard. Claim to have a lot dining options nearby. I did not find that to be the case unless you wanted to walk and eat at the same time. The area is too busy to drive in, once parked the car did not move until the next morning. Again, I would find somewhere else to stay.

Easy transport from LaGuardia. Beautiful property once inside the doors. Safe, clean, and quiet. Pictures just like the room. Great diversity and quantity of included breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

This hotel was very nice. Very clean and super quiet. Area very active so it was nice to go for a short walk and have plenty to do. Would recommend and definitely stay again if needed.
