Kimpton HOTEL MONACO DENVER, an IHG Hotel

Good place and great food

Don’t stay here. It’s old, cold, loud, dirty and smelly. New spot across the street same Price and all new. This place is best.

There was some construction in the cafe/bar and they were dealing with some water damage in my hall but it did not significantly affect me. I wouldn't rate worse for dealing with the problems of an old building in a way that minimizes inconvenience. I love old buildings and the room was spacious with super high ceilings and quite up to date. Staff was standard Colorado friendly.

This hotel was quiet and comfortable. Very welcoming and each night there is a happy hour in the lobby - complimentary which you rarely see these days. The restaurant attached is very good.

We love the Kimpton properties and have stayed in multiple cities, including this Denver location. This property is beginning to show its wear and tear, and could use a refresh. Only one elevator was working. The facility had a burst pipe so the base boards were torn up and drying fans (many, many) we placed around the floors. Chairs in the lobby were ripped up and rickety, and paint is needed in many spots. We were also less than impressed with the restaurant. I hope they make the effort to keep this property from going down hill. Location is excellent. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Everyone working at the Denver Kimpton Monaco was extremely professional and friendly. Front desk people super nice and helpful. The manager was friendly and it was apparent his guests happiness and satisfaction was a priority. Special "shout out" to housekeeping!

The Monaco is always a solid choice- my go to when staying in Denver. The rooms are very spacious- perfect for a girls wkd

The vibe of the hotel is dated which I was ok with. But I was over it once I saw empty beer cans under the bathroom vanity.

It’s a nice size hotel, breakfast was very good and the bar service was great. Housekeeping daily was a very nice touch that is rarely offered these days.

Love the Monaco. We didn’t bring our dog this time, but it’s nice to know she would have been welcomed. Always enjoy the wine in the evening.
