We enjoyed our stay at La Jolla Inn and Suites. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The rooms clean and comfy. Great shower. The seals were awesome!!

From the Moment we arrived the front desk was nice and friendly and checked us in . The room was recently updated and clean . The balcony looks over the La Jolla Cove and Sea Lions . The hotel was really quiet . Tons of restaurants near by to choose from .

The location is amazing. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was supremely out of date. The slider door was difficult to open and the bed incredibly uncomfortable. Just a tired hotel room is all. The newly renovated rooms looked great and people said the beds were comfy. I'll still consider returning if I can get an updated room.

The new and renovated section of this property is really well made. The location is great to just walk out of the hotel and have great walks. The coffee shop on the property is awesome. There are so many good restaurants in walking distance. Great stay.

Was told early checkin was likely, my flight change got me in 3 hours earlier than expected. Room was not available for three more hours. Room was cold. Elevator out of service. Not impressed.

Very nice location right in the coast. Awesome roof top and pool. Beds very comfy and bathrooms are awesome. Staff is nice and kept our luggage after checkout since our flight wasn’t till later

If you stay stay in the pine rooms I thought we were getting the sweet in the picture and we did not. We stay in what looks like an abandoned hotel and not the pictures they show. Place was clean but needs more updates to the side we stayed in.

Perfect location and perfect view from room balcony! Loved our recently renovated room. Door to next room needs sound proofing. We heard our neighbor’s entire work call and it was like he was in the same room with us. Sliding door to balcony had great sound proofing! We didn’t have to hear the seals all night. Beds were comfy!

Grotty hotel, somewhat misadvertised, there was a loud wedding party at the roof top bar until late at night, lift out of order. No breakfast available. Had the description on Hotels.com been accurate I would have booked elsewhere. They added an unexpected $50 security deposit which has not been refunded back yet. Expensive parking.

The front desk clerk at check in was very nice. The hotel seemed to be in need renovations. Our room had been recently renovated and was clean, but when we returned to the room after dinner the power to all outlets and TV kept going out every fifteen minutes. Finally after contacting the front desk three times they gave us a different room.

Place was very outdated and old. There was a ton of rust and patios were separated by particle board. Paint was chipping on dressers and the beds were sitting ontop of wood not an actual boxspring. Views were spectacular though and walking distance to everything was amazing. The front desk gentlemen named Michael was so personable and made check in very easy. This property has so much potential if they would update the rooms as pictured.

The rooms are not at all as pictured. The entry hall was not clean, the elevator had a very pungent smell. The furniture were pretty old, half of the lights were not even working in side the room. Even the room layout was very strange, for a 6 ft person it is impossible to take a shower and access bath tissue, the restroom is that small. There was only one heater in the living room, so if you are staying in the second room, it will be very cold during night. I would not recommend this property for staying.

The receptionist that checked just us in not sure if she was having issues for the day or that’s just her personality. Couldn’t get a smile out of her a greeting. Check in was easy but again not sure if she was having a terrible day but need to put somebody else upfront. That’s gonna be the face of your business. The location is great. The rooms are just very old. Looks they have not been updated in decades.
