We love staying at this property. The staff have been wonderful every single time. They are super helpful and very nice. The property itself is clean and neat; however, the location means there is noise from the highway. Additionally, the physical property around the hotel is old and not very attractive. I just want to be honest; however, the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel make it worth the stay.
Also, the breakfast is really good. Some hotel-included breakfasts really miss the mark. This one does not. The waffle station is the best. There is a pretty good variety of items, including healthy choices like fruit and yogurt.

We only stayed to sleep and go back and forth to the hospital in Starkville. It was a good place to crash for the couple nights we were there. We will definitely be back.

When I walked into the room all of the drawers were open and the refrigerator was open. There was a candy wrapper on the floor in the bathroom. However everything else was clean.

Bathrooms and furniture were very stained and written on. Showers had mold in corners. Elevator was very sketch on one side. I got the King Suite and it was not worth the 200 bucks.

Everything was great but you have to understand that some of us are allergic to down pillows even though they are revered by many. We asked if there were any foam pillows available and the answer was simply, “no”! We put all the pillows in the closet to get the feathers confined away from us and slept without a pillow!! Not acceptable!

When we arrived in our room, it was 56 degrees. The air had been turned on full blast. It was very late. By the time we got the room warm, it was almost five in the morning.
A softball team staying at the hotel had wiped out the breakfast and we had to eat offsite.
And our room was nasty. The front of the vanity and the Kleenex box were covered in dirt and lingering nastiness.
The desk chair in the room was broken and we couldn’t sit in it.
Overall, a very sub par experience.

The staff was gracious and courteous. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, apples, cearal, toast juice and coffee. I always try to book with La Quinta if I can. They never let us down.
